I am a single foster mother with a tremendous amount of love to give. I teach special education in an alternative school, a job that many would not choose, but I truly love. I recently had a two year old foster son, who was placed with family members and had my six year old foster son returned to me by his mother last year. I am currently working on adopting him. It indeed takes a special kind of love to be able to foster children, knowing that they may not stay forever (even when I hope that they will), but it is a fulfilling and needed job.
