I'm really not good at these "describe yourself" things, but here it goes...1st & foremost, I'm a single mom to a beautiful 5 yr old girl. She is my everything & will always come before anyone. As much as I love my job, I'm thinking of going back to certified nursing assistant. I did that for 7 yrs & enjoyed it. I would love to go back to school, possibly for nursing.I'm working on setting several goals in my life & school is definately one of them.I love going to the beach in the summer with my daughter & anyone else who joins us. I love the boardwalk, nature walks, just walks in general. I'm not really good at sports, but I love to throw a basketball around from time to time. While on the subject of sports, I'm a philly fan(even if I don't watch all the games). I'm not a super skinny supermodel & never intend to be. I am happy the way I am, pretty much. I would love to lose maybe 5 or 10 pounds.I dye my hair on a whim. Never anything extreme, just usually when I'm in a mood. I'm a go with the flow type of person. If you wanted to get up & go on a road trip out of boredom, I'd do the same. I'm not one who really desires to travel the world(really can't now with a child), but I love vacations. Just always thought it was beautiful.I listen to pretty much anything music wise. If it has a good beat, I'll listen to it. Just not really into jazz though, but definately don't knock people who are.I think that pretty much sums it up. If you want to know anything else, feel free to ask. I was here. I left. I came back. I will update very soon with more info. I lost my long and drawn out novel of a profile. *sigh* don't worry it grows back like a bad haircut. I am a woman of many facets. To try to describe myself to you would be frustrating for me and would only be my perception of self. That being said, I suppose who I am to you depends on what part of me you choose to tap into. Eventually, with enough time invested, you may see it all. Some see me as colorful and vibrant. Energetic, perhaps a little childlike, and soulfully inspired with many ideas, some new and some old. Yes I have a kid and she's almost as tall as me and she specializes in chasing off douches *laugh* I'm kidding. Sense of humor in tact.On the flip side, I can be many things most people can be, such as impatient, intolerant. I can be prideful. There's a whole list of things, but I remain willing to look at myself. I have taken time to look at my past and present behaviors and progress as I learn life lessons. I feel I have come a long way. One KEY thing about me... I do NOT drink. Nor do drugs. I still have plenty of fun I just remember it all now. *smile* I also try my best to live an honest life of principles and values. I will wait as long as it takes to find the one whose values coincide. Ok one more thing. I don't drive. It's a lifestyle choice for me. Something many can't fathom. But I do, and that's what matters :-) So unless you enjoy driving the distance, its best to be fairly local to visit because though I can get places, I can't get everywhere unless I call a taxi and well...that is a luxury I can't afford. If you are of sound spirit, mind, and body (most of the time) I would especially love to talk to you. If your idea of a good time doesn't involve going to a bar that gains you extra bonus points, especially because I don't drink. I probably won't be staying.... Locals seem to really love it here, or at least making the best of it. I am making the best of my temporary time here as well. But it is... temporary. I've had a dream in my mind since age 14 that I would live in NY or a vast city. I have lived on a few beaches in my life and didn't go. Up for a road trip? I'm in! Some basic stuff about me (scattered in quick sentences): I am one of those dorks that really likes their job and going to work. I am always looking for an excuse to bake something for someone, even though I'm not a big sweets person myself. First off, I'm a really happy person. So regardless of your appearance, if your photo looks like a mugshot (because you're scowling *** smiling) we would never work out. And indoor shirtless pics... yeah we're not right for each other. If you're without a shirt because the photo is taken on a beach or boat, it makes sense. But in your living room, bathroom, etc... you're just not for me. If you are on this site because you like casual hookups, I wish you all the sweet ass your heart desires. But that's not my thing. My ideal age range is ***, but I can go slightly out of that range. The kind of guy who loves to hunt, fish, go mudding.... I hope you find your dream country girl... she's just not me. And due to the fact that I know a lot of gay people (both friends & family) if you don't think gay people are just like everyone else, lets avoid the messy debate & just know we aren't a good fit either. Whew! A casual situation where we can talk & get to know each other.
