I'm Oriagain aka Ray. I'm Irish/German/French/Dutch/ Welsh/Swiss/Alsace Lorrainian/English/Spanish; Genealogy.com and I was always very close as a young kid with my grandmothers and many great aunts. After St. Joe's High School, Metuchen, NJ went to University of Penn, Phila. for undergrad in Pre-Med. As I did not go to med school, enlisted in the US Navy as a Hospital Corpsman/Battlefield Medic. Almost went to war in Korea in ***. There was an incident where 3 Navy Officers and 6 Enlisted were axed to death by North Koreans, but orders to go to battle were called off at the last minute. After 4 years of Active Duty in the Navy, went for a Master's degree in Social Work at Rutgers U. in New Brunswick, NJ. Worked in Medical Social Work, primarily in Cardiac Care, the Intensive Care Units (ICUs), including Cardiac Surgery, Surgical, regular ICU, the Emergency Room, Neoonatal ICU, and Dialysis for about 20 years, then retired early. When in the US Navy, I was chosen Sailor of the Quarter at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Md. in the mid ***s. Following this I was nominated for Sailor of the Year. Had a top secret clearance to be the President's (Ford's and Carter's) corpsman/medic for Marine 1, the President's helicopter. Trained in Battlefield Medicine with the US Marines at Camp LeJeune/Camp Johnson, NC in ***. When I was in undergrad at the U. of Penn, Philadelphia, I was a member of the fraternity, Kappa Sigma. I still have my Marine helmet and am ready to put it back on, and give 'em hell, if the enemy ever comes back like they did in ***. Life is pretty quiet and settled down now and I look forward to sweet mellow times with a nice beautiful woman to have lots of love and fun with. I joined Meetville a little less than a month ago and written to many nice ladies but only a very few have gotten back to me. I'm not sure what's going on. Is it the Pandemic or something else? I've had my 3 Moderna shots and am ready for a 2nd booster, if needed. The Lord is always with me; He is always by my side.
