So, here we are... Looking to find new friends, date a bit, friendship is important to me. Honesty, mutual respect and being able to communicate with each other are key. I'm very aware of only having one life on this planet and feel the need to experience as much of it as I can. I love hiking in the natural settings here, especially playing along the Monument, and the Bookcliffs. I'm not into material things, or internally driven by money, in fact I'm more interested in living as lightly as we can on this earth. I don't need fancy cars, lots of makeup and over the top clothes to make me feel better about myself. I think mutual attraction is important. At this point in my life I'm not out to win a beauty contest, I just am who I am. I try to eat healthy and be active. I would look for a partner who feels the same way and is not wrapped up in appearances, impressed by material items and obsessed with looks. I think bald is sexy, by the way, so you don't have to hide under a hat around me :-) But I can do hair too :-) Ultimately, I want to live this life with a partner. Life is to be shared with someone, friends and family are important too. But for now, let's just see how it all unfolds. Things I find attractive about people: * Their word and handshake are the real deal. * They respect them self and others. * They have a genuine smile and laugh and sense of humor. * They are true to strong morals and ethics and don't change these to fit their current situation. * They just are who they are and they know WHO they are. Turnoffs: * People who lie.*People who thrive on drama. * People who lie about their age on dating sites.* Controlling people. * Angry or negative people. * People who post they generate a large income just to impress. * People who are not mature enough to take responsibility for their own thoughts and actions. * People who are too damaged from past baggage and have a closed heart. * People who can't spell, I mean use spell check for Pete's sake! A couple typos are ok... LOL* People who think an online format relieves them of common courtesy.

I have 3 grown children and a granddaughter (who is my most adorable little boobala, love her beyond words). I love sports (playing, watching and going to the actual games) I'm a NY girl always at heart so I'm a Jets, Mets and Rangers fan!!! Odly enough I'm a Heat fan - go figure that! I love the beach, boating, fishing anything having to do with water. Not into club scenes any more that's long past I'm more of a let's go to the local bar where I can relax with no drama maybe shoot some pool, throw some darts, listen to some music and have some drinks. There really isn't anything I don't like to do and there are a few things I would still love to try and haven't gotten to do so far in my life. Believe it or not there are 2 things I've been dying to do my whole life and yet haven't been able to and that is go to an island (my ultimate thing I want to do) and go on a cruise I have always wanted and longed to travel to places I've only dreamed and read about and hope to be able to do soon, as I do love life and have a lot more living to do. Would love to find someone with my same general interests, positive attitude, always wanting to believe the best in people, someone who is honest and sincere truly not just at the beginning when I meet you because let's face it nothing is worse than being in a relationship with someone you don't know! I am Taurus the bull so can be stubborn, but steadfast, loyal beyond belief sometimes to a fault. I truly am a hopeless romantic and even though I've been married and in long term relationships and they didn't work for whatever reason at the time I still in my heart truly believe that there is my true love, soul mate and best friend out there looking for me as I'm looking for you! I love to joke around so I need to have someone with a great sense of humor that will always make me smile that is very important to me. I'm a firm believer that there has to be something (at least one thing) that attracts a person to another whether it be the eyes, the smile, the sense of humor whatever it may be it has to make you keep wanting to come back over and over and over again to be with that person. And if you truly want to be with a person no matter what is going on in your life like work, or children you will always find a way to be with that person.
