I really like going to concerts...but haven't been since seeing Madonna last September. It would be great to catch a fewconcerts before the summer ends. Musically, I enjoy listening to mostly rock (70s & 80s), but also like pop, R& I stay active whether playing tennis, volleyball, taking a walk or hike or going canoeing. Pretty much any activities outdoors I enjoy. It's a real breath of fresh air. What's not to like? I'm really not interested in meeting serial daters, only men who are seeking serious longterm relationships. I tend to be more liberal than conservative and would probably be a better match with someone who is liberal or independent. Hoping to meet a college educated, intelligent, athletic, and attractive man who is both emotionally and financially stable. If you have a good sense of humor (and a lot of charisma - that little spark) and can bring the back and forth banter to the table...please reel me in. Something casual and comfortable. Well a little about myself.... This last year has been packed full of change. Some good, some not so good. Everything is now falling into place very nicely. I am a very outgoing girl. I do everything from riding my own motorcycle, to sking, to scuba diving. There is only a few things I won't do. I like to do things on the spur if the moment as well as stay home and watch movies and BBQ in the backyard with friends. I am very close to my family and my son. Hello! Hope life is treating you well. I'm gonna keep this as short and sweet as I can. I love a guy with a great sense of humour. Laughter IS the best medicine. (If you're not a fan of sarcasm, we may not get along fantastically). The most attractive thing about any guy is self-confidence. Of course, there is that fine line that can sometimes be crossed, but in general, be confident.......it's sexy!! I love to travel and would love to find someone who wants to travel with me. I'm a Rider fan. Love watching football, and love it even more when I can go to the games. That will be a big part of my summer and fall, being that I actually got myself some season tickets this year. (And, I also scooped up some Grey Cup tickets!) I was a hairstylist for 20 years, owning my own business for 10 of those. I do not have children, but would not be opposed to getting to know someone who does. Another interest that I have is acting. I was lucky enough to be a part of a production that travelled all over the province for six years, and I loved it. On a more realistic scale, if I have the time, I would love to join a theatre group in Saskatoon. A few more random facts about myself might include......... I know how to check the oil in my car, and I can fix almost anything with duct tape! (You can thank my father for these skills!) I enjoy camping and being outdoors. Tried fishing for the first time last year, and I have to say, I kind of enjoyed it. I enjoy a wide range of music.......but 80s is probably my favourite go to!........ I am genuine, outgoing, and love to smile and laugh. I can be a complete goof, but also have a serious enough side that seems to attract people telling me some of their deepest secrets or problems. I am honored when people put their trust in me, and I take that trust seriously. I would describe myself physically as kind of athletically curvy - if there is such a thing! I am easy going and open minded, and would like to find someone of a similar mindset. I love to golf, cook, travel, spend time at the lake - (camping or cabin life). I don't have kids, but I love having them in my life (and they seem to like me!)...it just didn't happen for me. My dog is a big part of my life...she has been a solid companion through good and not so good times. I return the favor by being dog's best friend. Not a crazy dog lady - just someone who recognizes that I am her world. Obviously a dog person, but also grew up with horses and a veritable 'arc' of animals, and so have a huge appreciation for animals in general. Giving back to our community is important to me - I do it in my daily job, as well as in volunteer capacities. I am creative, and enjoy photography, travel, drives, watching planes at the airport, ski boats, sailboats - anything near water Except my golf ball); mornings at the farmers market with a good coffee, hockey/football games, or going to see a movie or a play at MTC. As fas as music... my radio is often set to 103, 106, ***& CBC...- pretty much everything except heavy metal...and even that has its little place. I am a positive person, who appreciates the little things in life... the smell of the rain, the sound of the leaves in the wind, comforts of home, spending time with friends. Integrity is important to me, as is communication, and thoughtfulness. I can be the life of a room, but also very much so appreciate quiet times and some solitude. I have an incredibly full life, but it is missing sharing part of it with someone special. I would say what makes me stand out it is my smile, laugh and outgoing personality. I will talk to anyone - from street people to CEOs. We are all people and deserve respect! When you get to know me, you would find that I would do anything for those who are close to me. I am very affectionate, and enjoy close and meaningful relationships .As far as my expectations: I am looking to meet someone to get to know, and have fun... from there we see what happens!
