Heyy, I'm Megan! Thanks for checking out my page. A bit about myself... I'm pretty easy going, laid back and love having a good time with friends and family. I am a mental health worker in the downtown east side working with those with addictions and mental illnesses. I'm someone who likes to keep busy.I try to be as healthy and active on a daily basis. Ran my first half-- definately a challenge but I am so glad I did it. When I am not in school, you can probably find me volunteering or being active outside. I volunteer for a hockey team as the game night coordinator and I love what I do! I get to meet amazing people and I get to see how happy a simple game makes people. I am also very active, whether it be going for a hike, working out, going to the gym, or playing frisbee on the beach...i love it all! I am fairly athletic...I played them all! Currently I am in ballet, I have a new appreciation for it and am loving it more every week.Currently I am in my last year of university, I cannot believe how fast it happened and am so excited to be done. I will graduate with a degree in human resource management. My dream would be to work on the island or a busy corporation. My preference would be to work in training and development. Well, hello there!To start off this little profile of mine, I would like to say that I am not your average thin, blonde. I don't lean toward the materialistic side of life and think that having a whole of two pairs of shoes is just dandy. I'm not the type to panic if I go into public with no make up nor will I demand two hours in front of the mirror, because let's face it, life is a lot more interesting when you actually, you know, live it. I am a bit of a nerd. I have an undying love for video games, especially in the likes of Fallout and Silent Hill, the more intense the better. I also have a soft spot for superhero movies and am ridiculously excited for the new Dark Knight (I know .... I know ... ) and The Avengers, though I certainly won't turn down a solid thriller/mystery or horror flick, because those are just as bad ass. I'm an artist and working toward my bachelor of arts in graphic design. I would love to work in the gaming industry but I'm leaving the possibilities open. I'm also a reader, writer and dreamer. I'm passionate for life and living it to its fullest. I find that the best thing for the creative mind is a walk through nature and experience then beauty that is all around us.I believe in gender equality and treating my partner with the same amount of love and respect that I want to receive from him. I'm not the type of girl who expects to be pampered but a little romance is never a bad thing.I'm not sure who I am looking for in a partner, but someone with similar tastes in activities like gaming and the arts is certainly a plus but never a necessity. A movie perhaps? Or a walk? Coffee? Dinner?The possibilities are endless.
