Hello, how are you? I am currently working as a barman, but back home i worked as a 3rd Assistant director on TV shows and films, it was a pretty good job, but it was crazy hours and hard work. However it did allow me to travel and work in amazing places, i spent 4 Months working on a show in Spain which was amazing but the most stress i have ever experienced in my life but was definitely worth it. As well as travelling it allows you to hang out with some pretty cool famous people, and also some pretty famous uncool people, i am absolutely willing to dish the dirt over a beer as well haha. My goal is to get back into the industry over here, it is proving very difficult though because of all the unions over here, but for the moment i am quite happy working in the bar having zero stress and actually having some free time. Speaking of free time, when i am not exploring the delights of the GTA i am either playing or watching football, or soccer as you Canadians call it. It definitely takes up too much of my time and if there is a match on i will be watching it for sure, i have just recently started playing again after a 2 year hiatus, i had a pretty serious knee injury so i am just starting to find my feet again and feel my way back into it, it deeply upsets me that i am not as good as i used to be haha. If i am not playing/watching/thinking about football i am doing the boring/regular things like reading, cooking watching movies and all that. I generally do not watch that much tv but when i do indulge, my favourites include: Breaking bad, The Sopranos (the best piece of television ever made, perfect in every way), The big bang theory, Seinfeld and Frasier, i went through a phase of being unable to got sleep unless i had a Frasier dvd on. How weird is that? My music taste is very diverse, then again everybody says that. My ITunes is a wonderful mess of different styles of music but, if you were to hold a gun against my head and demand i tell you one genre i would have to say classic rock: Beatles, Zeppelin, the stones, ACDC, CCR, Dylan and all that good stuff. EPIC. Being Scottish, i love a good night out, we are very good at drinking. Although i am not really a clubby person anymore, i am more of a sit in a good bar and have some good chat and listen to some good music. That being said though i do enjoy going to a club now and again, i have also been known to through a few shapes if i have had enough to drink. My dancing ability has a direct correlation to how much i have had to drink, the more i have drank the better the dancer i am, or so i think anyway... Anyway, this has proved to be a very long and laborious process so i am going to finish now and have a beer and rethink my life.
