I'm a 26 year old down-to-earth, enthusiastic, fun loving, laid back, independent gal with a sense of humor. I believe my interests set me apart from the rest of the crowd. I enjoy live theater, watching and acting. I've performed in over 10 shows, but that was years ago. I'm very eager to get back on the stage or in front of a camera, just for old times sake. My dream is to write and star in my own TV show so acting is still a great interest of mine. As a woman, I have an extensive knowledge of comic books (sometimes it's kind of scary even for me); my favorite hero is Batman but I prefer the Marvel universe. For me, I have a very small family that means a great deal to me and I hope to someday have a larger family to enhance the generations to come. I'm not ashamed of my love for food because you have to eat to live so why not live to eat? I have an enormous passion for British comedies, some of my favorite television shows are Spaced, Little Britain, The League of Gentlemen, Peep Show, Black Books... I could go on and on I suppose. I enjoy reading in my spare time which is extremely spare. Books I've enjoyed so far include The Hobbit, Macbeth, Kitchen Confidential, Haunted, and anything from Poe or Palahniuk. I also like manga and have recently started One Piece which is so amazing. My favorite mangas so far have been Kitchen Princess, Sailor Moon, Fruits Basket and Shugo Chara (hey, I like girly things). I love the sea! Things from the ocean (and that most definitely includes mermaids) make me smile. I'm constantly imitating it and I feel silly but it feels so natural sometimes. I also do a really good Schwarzneggar impression, but that's not for here ;) I'm a liberal, Christian Republican but very open minded and always up for a discussion. Also, I don't like labels because labels are for cans. Movies are fabulous, who doesn't like a good movie every now and then? Comedies are also enjoyable, but if you ask me what kind of movie I want to see, I'm going straight for the scary stuff. Movies make a horrible first date but an awesome second one...I like sports. Yeah, I said it. As a woman, I love tuning in to watch football and baseball. The pace of the game really doesn't bother me (just have a beer or 3). I hope to someday see a live NFL game, it's on the bucket list. Don't hate, appreciate sheer greatness! I also have a slight interest in soccer but I'm waiting for the right person to convince me that it's as fascinating as everyone says.Music is incredibly important to me. As cliched as it sounds, music really has saved my life and there isn't a day that goes by where I don't have some alone time with sweet and wonderful music. My tastes are all over the board, but if I were to narrow it down, I would say my favorite is Rock 'n Roll; it's my preference over all the crap on the radio. My top ten favorite bands are Rammstein, The Beatles, Korn, Led Zeppelin, Godsmack, Pink Floyd, System of a Down, Tic Tac Toe, The Doors, and Otep. I would love to hear your top ten because it's very appealing to me about a person. I believe music makes a person sexy; to me it invokes a certain attitude with preconceived notions.I'm looking for a sweet, caring, intelligent man I can get lost in the music with. Someone who doesn't mind watching Animaniacs at four in the morning. Someone who can talk about nothing for hours; a person I can feel comfortable around and not feel like I'm being forced to associate with. I've been burned so many times by people so I'm aware of what can be done to a mindset and the heart. I have few friends and the ones that have stuck around, I've grown to love. A sense of humor is greatly appreciated, almost mandatory. I've always pictured myself as a funny woman marrying a man with a funny accent, like one of my idols. My last relationship led me to create a simple list of criteria for the next man I invite into my life. Please have two of the following: job, car, goals. I'm not looking for a lawyer, but please at least respect yourself. Things I find physically attractive about a man are his shoulders, hands, and face. We're all aware of how superficial this world can be, but honestly, personality really does make a difference.
