I am a happy, active and hard-working individual. My friends often describe me as bubbly, energetic and supportive. I enjoy many of the simple things in life such as spending time with family and friends, running, working out, yoga, walking along the waterfront, visiting art galleries & museums, and just about anything that is social. I also like quiet time as well; whether it's having a coffee sitting in my favourite chair while reading a book or magazine or simply spending time with my thoughts while gardening on a beautiful, hot, summer day! Wondering the city and/or taking long drives stumbling along little shops and hide aways are something I also like to do!

So this is the part where I'm supposed to sell myself and make you wish you could find 10 more like me. Yeahhhh...whatever, this part bites and we all know it. I'm a generally happy person, I have a job I enjoy, a close circle of friends and a happily weird family. I've been married once, divorced once (for a long time) and my kids have the same dad. (this seems to be "odd" to some) Speaking of kids, I have 4...2 boys 2 girls, and they are, for the most part, grown. I am *not* looking for a "step-baby-daddy", I am however looking for someone on my own terms so they will stop trying to set me up with various professors, teachers and 'my friend's dad'.I also really need them to get off my back about my questionable relationship with my DVR. I'm a college football junkie and while It's a pretty serious addiction, I don't expect you to share it...just respect it :) If I get told one more time that "chicks shouldn't know this much about football...." I'm open minded, caring to the point of ridiculousness, quiet until I'm comfortable, low maintenance, non-clingy, non-smothering, I've gotten pretty good at taking care of myself and it's something of which I'm very proud. I *want* someone in my life, I don't *need* someone. There is a difference. You...you should be open-minded, non-clingy, non-smothering, confident and generally happy with your life and want something to add to it. An awesome if not warped sense of humor is a huge plus, as well :) If it gets this far, we'll figure something out.

HI thereI am new at this, but looking. I love the outdoors and nature, I would love to find some one to share that - hikes, camping, canoeing, kayaking, visits to the mountains, the lake or to SC's beautiful lowcountry and coastal area. I love to cook, especially to grill out and to pair great food with a nice wine. I read alot in my spare time, anything from peer-reviewed journals to sci-fi. I really enjoy being outside, whether it is just sitting outside reading by my little fireplace on my deck, gardening, or hiking through the forest.My job allows me to experience alot of natural, pristine wilderness, and I feel very lucky to enjoy what I do so very much. I love my job and it means alot to me, but I am not consumed by it. I am fortunate to have found what I am good at, and what inspires me, but I know there is more to life than work - at least there should be! I do not smoke nor do drugs. If you smoke, even just occasionally, please look elsewhere as I will not date a smoker. Not even someone who smokes occasionally - (please do not put non-smoker in your profile and then wait to surprsie me with that once we meet - not cool).I do drink socially. Physically, I guess "curvy" would describe me best, I am not skinny, but not really overweight either. I work out at the gym almost daily, and I am fit and healthy. I am most comfortable in jeans or khakis and a nice top, but I can certainly dress up, too. I have a happy outlook, I am stable and secure. I have been divorced (on relatively good terms) for about 5 years. I did not include a photo, I guess I am still feeling unsure about online date sites, but I will happily email you a photo or give you my info and you can either find me on facebook, or myspace, or you can google-image me and find some work-related photos that are already out there in cyberspace.
