I am at an age and point in my life where I strongly desire to find someone to develop a lasting relationship with.I look forward to days when I can come home after a long day at work, or even just a trip to the store, and not only give but receive a big smile, hug, and a kiss from the one I love. None of us are perfection, but we can be perfect for each other. Interested in a serious, long-term relationship which could possibly lead to marriage again- with someone completely divorced as I am (not just recently and still dealing with emotions), and not just separated (this still means married legally which is in my Must Not Be list), . First, and only marriage, 25 years, so that should tell you about my commitment. Age range is important. I work full-tme and still have teens at home so the work week can be busy depending on the season. I would enjoy spending time either doing things at home together, relaxing, or venturing out to take in the local parks, stores, festivals, the arts, live music, outdoor music venues are wonderful, sporting events, or anything that may be going on around town. In the summer I like relaxing on the deck, staring at the evening stars. In the fall maybe watching a game together, and in the winter, snuggling by a fire enjoying each other’s company and the feeling of closeness. I am not a materialistc or fake person. I take care of myself; I take pride in myself, my work, and anything I set out to do. If I set goals, I will make all attempts to see that they are fulfilled. Honesty and faithfulness are extremely important to me. Non-smokers only, and I would prefer someone in good health, and who takes care of themselves, as I make all attempts to stay healthy, exercise, and do not over-indulge on a regular basis. I am not on here for games, so please do not contact me if you cannot be an adult, and you get your kicks playing games on here, or you are a serial dater-please do not waste my time. Casual and relaxed, no-pressure, coffee or a drink, maybe lunch, just a chance to get to know the other person through conversation, and to see if there may be chemistry between us for date #2. I have never been accused of being a wall flower! I love to meet people and was raised by very socialable parents who entertained frequently and taught their daughters how to throw a decent party, treat their guests right and really enjoy themselves. I taught swimming for little ones(pee-wees) years ago and parlayed that into teaching water aerobics for the past 20 plus years. It's a great way to keep in shape, receive a free gym membership and get paid to work out and have fun. I love music and cannot imagine my life without melodies in it. Blues, country, classic rock are all good . . . I like to volunteer and help seniors/shut-ins - most I've met over the years when they were younger and more mobile and took my water classes. Now I stop in and visit and see how they are managing. It's very rewarding ***day I'll be old and hope someone does the same for me.I should mention that I've shuffled in between 'blue' and 'white' collared worlds all my life and I'm very comfortable in both. But at the end of the day, I know I'm attracted to smart people and that's nothing to be ashamed of. Besides, I'd hate to be the smartest person in the room all the time! lol Truthfully, it's been so long since I had a really enjoyable date-date that I wish I could brag on and on and blah blah blah. But mostly, if a guy has a plan, I don't give a damn where he takes me or how little or much he spends, as long as he had a plan and made me feel special. I would definitely shave my legs and put on a nice outfit! That's a promise ***and I'll make you laugh ***that's a promise too!AND IF YOU ARE IN YOUR 20'S OR 30'S - PLEASE MOVE ON. I AM LOOKING FOR A SERIOUS RELATIONSHIP AND DATING A YOUNG MAN LESS THAN HALF MY AGE IS NOT MY DESIRE.
