I was a little skeptical about this "on line dating thing", but my sister met someone and they have been "happily ever after" for a year now, so, I thought I would give it a try! So, here goes.... I lead a pretty active life...my job keeps me pretty busy, but I love what I do,so it doesn't seem like work (most of the time...) Family is very important to me and I come from a very close knit one.I have a 30 yr.old daughter,and two siblings that are my best friends.I enjoy getting together with family,friends, and my grand-doggies,cooking out,and relaxing by the pool to the sounds of Jimmy Buffet... it just doesn't get any better than that! Can you tell that Summer is my favorite time of year? I can easily lose myself in my gardens and dig in the dirt until the stars come out. I love the outdoors,and consider myself a 'country girl' at heart. My dream is to design and build a log cabin in the woods and retreat there to live 'MY happily ever after'... My life is pretty fulfilling and I'm really not looking for someone to take care of me. I don't take life too seriously and enjoy the simple things that are so often missed. It would be nice to enjoy them with a great guy who makes my heart smile! I would love to get to know you over a great cup of coffee....(or a pot)...depending on how it goes.....!

Thank you.I could try to give you all the buzz words that attract a mate... however reading a ***paragraph blurb doesn't really define who I am. I do, though, have to put some facts here that may lead you to be interested and then to respond. So here goes...I want someone that is available, caring, honest, and connected. Family is an important part of my life. I also have siblings in VA, and visit there as much as I can... and want to go back some day. I am newly single after 30 years of marriage. Don't know what else to say on that subject! Grew up on a farm. Raised mostly horses. Broke and trained horses when I was a Kid. Divorced 6+ years and over it. I like many different types of music although rap is not really one of them but even some of it I can tolerate. I love to watch movies. We all think we're nice, but other people actually do say I am nice...and funny, smart, creative and energetic. Rather than go to the gym, I garden, hike, swim, maybe get some time on my great bicycle, or go antiquing or rambling or adventuring. And I enjoy concerts (outdoors in summer), ballet, movies, and plays -- not loud music. I'll dance to good music. I like blues, classic rock, classical, most jazz, reggae, punk, alternative, some rap. But I usually listen to whatever anyone else wants to hear. I work hard and wish I could travel more.
