A. area for that for those of you who live down there! I'm at a Lab right now where they have me working on Fish genetics, but I'm happy I'll get to be doing what I actually want in the near future, which is working with human DNA, more specifically forensic DNA thankyouverymuch. I'm also one of those jerkfaces who takes pictures of their food in restaurants and then blogs about how good it was.... I. LOVE. FOOD!!! I'm kind of an amateur food critic, but OMG! FOOD! I also bake... a lot- which is probably why I'm pretty active. I would hate to get so big that I can't squeeze my tush into a restaurant chair and shamelessly scour that beautiful menu :DThere is one big thing- please please please, for the love of tacos, be athletic. It's not that I'm shallow, it's that I'm very active and if you're not then you do not know the frustration it causes when you're with someone who can't keep up with you. I run, rock climb, race, SCUBA dive, archery, kayak, kick box, I run out and play beach volleyball or soccer with friends at the drop of the hat, I'm at the gym at least 4 times a week if not every day: I NEED someone who can physically keep up with me. You have been warned.Anyway, I've been single for about 5 years and it's starting to not be fun anymore so I'm looking to start dating again. But I'm nice, fun loving, and completely obsessed with strawberries, so message me! *** (Unless you're a whack job, then message me ***times and watch me ***! YAAAYYY!!)Something original!! Try to sound like you graduated high school. Kay? Thx. I'm up for anything, I've done most of them; from theater (the play, not the movie, though both are fun) and dancing to a monster truck rally and hotdog eating contest, sadly I did not win. If you're a diver that would be all sorts of awesome and I would gladly go diving as a first date, rock climbing, food, *** )... or the nice-n-cheesy walk on the beach if that's more your style. Hockey is my sport of choice(yay Kings!!! AROO!). I'm not the biggest beer drinker but I won't turn it down (especially if it comes with food!) and wine tasting is always fun!! Arrogant B*stard is my favorite beer although I would always prefer a whiskey sour over any other alcohol. I think the only thing I wouldn't be OK with is a concert- Sadly, I seem to have very different tastes in music then other people (I don't really enjoy rap, like many other worthwhile women out there -Hah! Shameless plug!). However, if you give me a soccer ball, prepare to cry your lovely little eyes out because I will kick. your. butt. (or you'll be crying from laughing so hard over the enthusiasm, either way-) *** apparently this needs to be said. Guys, I don't do the whole f*ck buddy thing, I'm not comfortable with it, it's just not my style. If you're sending me naked pics of yourself after a first date that didn't have any super obvious sparks then that's kind of a red flag and I'll probably stop texting you pretty quick. Just...have some dignity, please

Hey! Thanks for taking the time to read my profile. Before you know anything else about me, you need to know that my Christian faith is of utmost importance to me and I'm looking for someone whose Christian faith is equally important to them. I love adventure, trying and learning new things, and cooking and baking delicious foods and desserts. I am one semester away from getting my Master's in TESOL. I'd love to find a teaching job in the area once I'm finished or I wouldn't even mind teaching in another country (don't forget, I love adventure.) While going to school full-time, working full-time, going to the gym 6 days a week, teaching at my internship, and serving in my church, I have managed to maintain a 3.7 GPA which I'm pretty proud of. Up until the end of February, I had been in the gym 6 mornings a week (as in 3 AM in the morning! With school and work, that was the only time I could make it some mornings) but when my body decided to give out, I am being forced to take a break while I go through physical therapy for runners knee and for strengthening my upper back. I love running (I've ran ***marathons and a dozen or more 5k/8K/10k races), my knees and IT bands just don't appreciate it!I'm an extremely driven and motivated person who has a list of goals and dreams that I'll accomplish someday. I hope you're the same. I am looking for someone who loves Jesus, is intelligent, loves to laugh (and can make me laugh), is giving (not necessarily through money, but is giving of time and talent, willing to help others), can carry on a conversation (it's no fun trying to keep a conversation going), and loves adventure. Random fact about myself- I was rear ended by a drunk driver which then turned into a hit and run. He was caught when he crashed his truck into a $28,000.00 pole. He plead not guilty, and then changed his plea about 3 months into the court process when I proved his attorney wrong with his own evidence! What makes me unique is my passion for people, my dedication to finishing a job, and my commitment to my faith. I'm not looking to play games or get a free meal.
