Ok, so here it goes. This is the spicy, no b.s. side of me throwing this out there. I will be up front with you now so that neither of us waste our time. Lol. I'm not looking for a hook up or fwb. I work long hours so on my free time I like to stay active and am usually going on some kind of adventure. I love to travel when time allows and go on day trips. I love to go to wine tastings, art festivals, art walks, try new restaurants and listen to live music. I love hiking and being outdoors but I must admit that I'm outdoors a little less in the summertime. Hey, AZ can be brutal in the summer! Lol. I'm from FL and have been in AZ for almost 31 years so I'm pretty much a native. A first date should be something that's low key and casual. I find that meeting for coffee or an adult beverage first to see if there is a mutual attraction is a good way to go. If there isn't a mutual attraction then we are both adults about it and move on. No games or drama.

I like the outdoors, especially in warmer climates. While I'm from IA, I'm not a fan of the cold but I do tolerate it. Like everyone, I make mistakes and I try to learn from them. As much as life can be chaotic, I wouldn't have it any other way. I am open minded and look at different perspectives. When there are different perspectives, I feel there are times when you have to agree to disagree and move on. I travel regularly for work and have my son 50% of the time. After reading several profiles, I've realized there are definitely 2 different categories of profiles: Detailed or NOT.I'm sure most people who take the time to sign up and create a profile appreciate the effort in a nicely worded description, and it confuses me why so many will write something as simple as, "I'm an open book... if you want to know something, just ask..." or "I'm not looking for any drama..." Aren't we all looking for someone who ultimately compliments us *** antagonizes us? And what about this open book comment I see every time I log in...what does that really mean, anyway? Are there closed books on this site looking to find the love of their life? Since I can only speak for myself and have little use for the profiles in the NOT category, I will do my best to write something to give people an idea of who I am.I am hoping to find my best friend, partner, lover and dream guy. He of course isn't perfect, but he is confident, funny, playful, not afraid to talk, and is just as excited to see me as I am to see him. He's cute because he's comfortable with who he is, whether he's short or tall, hair or not, thick or thin. He has a beautiful smile and isn't afraid to use it. Whatever his age he will be very young at heart, and is willing to live life and enjoys what this great world has to offer... I'm not really interested in staying in every night watching the news just yet. My parents have been married for 43 years and still look forward to seeing each other every day. They are best friends and fantastic role models- most definitely something I strive for in my next relationship.I have an 18 year old daughter who has recently become a pilot, which scares me more than I ever thought possible. I have had several different types of jobs, which has helped me develop an understanding of how people interact with each other. I have been in sales, social services work with at-risk teens, banking and corporate training- all different, yet each job offered some great advantages.
