This past summer I went on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic to help build a house for a family. I got to see a beautiful land, waterfalls, the jungle, swimming in the ocean, and meet the people of the area. I thought doing away with technology,electricity, running water, toilet, and sleeping in a hammock for a week was impossible! ...but I did it!! :) I hope take back what I learned from them to America!! :) I am very humbled! I am looking for my happy every after! ..my first last date! :-) My parents have been married over 60 years and so were both of their parents. I know I won't make to 60, but I should like to try. Hi there and thanks for stopping by and giving my profile a once over. I am a southern woman and all that implies. I am 43 and have two kids that I am very proud of. My daughter is 19 and in college and my son is 12 and in the 7th grade. My daughter just recently moved back to school and my son lives with me full time. I am very proud of them both...they are the best contribution I have made to this world. I thank God for them every day. Their father and I have been divorced ***years and have remained friends...so NO drama there.
