MEET NEW PEOPLE
Woman. 50 years old. Zodiac sign: Aries.
Looking for: man. In age: 47-57
I believe in communication rather than yelling at one another to resolve issues. I do NOT like drama! I am a simple down to earth person that enjoys having fun in life. I would like to find someone to share my life with that will not try to change me into who they would like me to become. I like camping/fishing....races, all ***, cuddling on the couch watching movies...photography. I really love the mountains and the beach. Anything that sounds fun for both us, and leave us laughing and wanting to be with each other again! Are you ready for some laughter and fun??

Barb G. I work for a local non-profit running their website. I also am a mentor for Challenge ***which is a program to try out a plant-based diet for 22 days. I'm trying to get back out there after ending a long term relationship last year that was very emotionally abusive.
Woman. 47 years old. Zodiac sign: Scorpio.
Looking for: man. In age: 44-54
Looking for a man that is secure in himself. Must enjoy being around people & family. I enjoy cooking, reading, boating & laughing. Life is too short for arguments. I believe talking is better than yelling. I try to live drama free! I am looking a man who says what they mean & mean what he says. Men say they want a good woman, well you have to be a quality man. If you have to drink alcohol every weekend, you're not for me. Socially drinking is once in awhile. I am easy going type & ***!

Changing my profile as a final effort before signing off the site. I KNOW this is a practical option as we're all very busy and it's just tough getting opportunities to meet people. You see someone at the gas station or the grocery store and you WANT to say HI but you miss your chance. Unlike the small town where I grew up, you don't get a second chance as you may never see that person again - even though they live minutes away.So here goes...I am fit and active and, around that 50 mark, proud that I'm able to keep up with the 20-somethings I teach and train (college courses and baseball players). I have a business about which I'm passionate, I have cool related jobs with media, presenting and training. I have one amazing 8-yr old with a simple set up and none of the complications that can often go with that. I enjoy occasional excursions out but do prefer dinners and wine with friends, exploring and being active. I'm even half-way handy...mostly out of necessity but I have to say it's incredibly satisfying to fix stuff (even if it's simple) and figure out home maintenance. And yes, like so many of us here...I have a great family and amazing friends. I'm fine and independent on my own but am looking for that person to connect and share with.So if I am the girl next door, small town roots, big city balance, active, intelligent, I golf and I even like to cook, clean and bake...why is being here so depressing? I get some interesting *** don't follow up and then far too many keeners who consider themselves "active"-yr old photo is a good idea. I mean...wouldn't you RATHER have someone say you're better looking than your picture rather than gasping in shock at your first meeting? If you are positive and intelligent (doesn't always mean a degree either!), active and athletic (NOT meaning compulsive and perfect as it really should be fun), have integrity and cherish character but don't take yourself too seriously...oh...and if you have a recent photo and think we have common ground and appeal...I'd love to hear from you.If you like camping (sorry, not so keen if that's your passion...willing to try but not hanging out at Mountain Co-op looking for sales on winter camping gear), monster truck races (might be fun on occasion but not a hobby) and watching *** being active...pass...neither one of us truly needs one more coffee date that seems to be THE longest hour of your life!Good luck to all fishing! Firsts dates are tough enough as it is. I picture something simple like a coffee or a drink. As an active option, perhaps hitting the driving range or a quick skate. I think that any social situation is going to give you an indication of whether you want to get to know more.P.S.need to update and clarify...connecting can be challenging. I am not looking for endless *** PLEASE understand that first contact can be a challenge as you figure out someone else's schedule. I'm not by a phone much during the day and don't live by my mobile so need some patience for that first bit but I am there and look forward to meeting you!ALSO...this is nerve-wracking for me! I'm used to helping others and that's my *** comfort zone. Calling you back may take some courage building as it feels like I'm back at a grade 8 dance and being turned down to dance by the cute guy! Anyone else feel like that...if they're honest? If not, way to go. I present for a living, not scares by stage, camera or audience...but calling you back DOES make me nervous!

I am stubborn, adventurous, independant and a bit of a firecracker, who also has a soft side. Still feel like Im in my twenties and look like I'm in my thirties. A mother who puts her children first (3 boys ***, 9 & 7). I like to play darts and baseball. I love traveling, gardening and reading.I am looking for a partner to share my life, who can take care of himself as well as others. Who enjoys life off the couch, who is adventurous and sincere with a sense of humour. Must like kids and pets and understand that sometimes he has to share.I'm the type of girl who loves to camp and watch the sun rise with a cup of tea, after starting the fire. Yes I do tents!! LOL I'm the girl who can roll out of a sleeping bag, run my fingers thru my hair and am good to go for the day. But I also love the cottage and walking the dog as the sun sets. I love ethnic food & dining out, a good bottle of Tsing Tao or Shariz, escargot, calamari, sushi and absolutely cheese cake are a few of my favs.Men looking for a "wife" I have a home and am not looking to relocate from Grey & I don't mean to sound negative, but why waste my time or yours.

What a shocker..Im NOT married. There are things we cannot change so make changes with what you have. I can't sell myself here, I'm not a writer, I'm just me. I take the good with the bad and it's made me such a better person as I came out stronger!Looking for kind, honest, sincere, witty, faithful and adventurous :) Yes, HONEST. Start your story with at least a partial truth!?!Laughter and love are as necessary as air and water, both needed to survive.Don't judge a book by its cover, looks are a cover, the real story is inside. I love most music, most *** not soccer), I know how to dress up and dress down. I don't mind getting my hands dirty on the banks of the lake either. I like staying home as much as I enjoy going out. I'm pretty witty so I've been told, you dish it out, I can give it right back ;) humor is my favorite part of a person, makes for a good time. I secretly love tats & motorcycles. I have one tat and debating on a 2nd, mine is small and discreet. You only live once, right? (Well I have 2 now). :)I don't need to date your paycheck, I have my own :)No married men please! First date? Huh? Really?
