How many people really read this section all the way through? Honestly, if a person wants to get to know me, they are far better off striking up a conversation. I have no list of things I do/do not want in a man. I think such things falsely include, or worse yet, exclude people. Just be a real person. Talk about myself...the hard part. I am a very active girl that likes to have fun. My job requires me to be in front of a computer all day, so when the work day ends I like to get out and do something. I workout 3 or 4 days a week, I like playing sports, going out on the boat, attending sporting events and just hanging out with my friends. I enjoy weekends up north or other long weekend trips. I definately have my down time too when I like movies or reading a good book. I am close with my family and friends, they are very important and a big part of my life. I am a person who likes to be active. Tubing trips, camping, canoeing, concerts, road trips, and several other things. I am pretty diverse. I can go from a biker festival on a Friday night in a T shirt and jeans to a charity fundraiser in a dress and heels on Saturday to floating down the river on Sunday afternoon. And dont forget cheerleader mom in the bleachers at one of my kids' ball games. After all of the crazy fun in a day I like to unwind in the quiet with a good book, or even a movie once in a while.My best defense in stress is going for a long run or hitting the gym. I am happiest when making other people happy. I have become the go to person and that is great, but would like to know if there is someone out there who I can go to. Not when needed, because I realize I dont need anyone, but I know now that I want that someone special there. I always have fun with whatever I am doing. I can find the good in every day. I believe that life is too short not to have fun going through it. I live every day as if I am not sure how many more Ill have left.I have been divorced for 5 years and I am very happy with my life as it is now. Because I am happy with my life I know I am ready for someone who is just as happy with theirs.I have been described by others as genuine, unique, and simply not able to compare me to anyone. Ive taken these statements as good things. ;) People say those things about me because I am honest to a fault, but at the same time live by the phrase "If you cant say something nice then dont say anything at all". I wont lie, but dont like to hurt people's feelings either. I am always there when needed and support my friends and family with everything I have. I love my family and believe that friends are the family that you choose. I can only hope that I can meet someone with similar views on life who is also willing to include me in the things he is interested in and want to join in on the fun roller coaster of life that I live.Bad things happen to good people all the time. I know that , for me, there is always something to learn and take from those bad things. If we didnt have bad days then we wouldnt know how to appreciate the good ones.
