I consider myself to be an independent woman with somewhat old-fashioned values when it comes to dating. I haven't always been this way but after some dating experiences I have decided that some of the values our parents followed probably were successful for a reason. I am usually considered to be the "funny" one in the group and finding someone with a sense of humor is at the top of my list. I think the world today is superficial and although being healthy is important, when we are all 80 years old having someone who can hold up their end of a conversation will be more important than having someone that looks good naked. I like all types of music but hip hop and r&b is probably what I listen to most. My favorite artist is Beyonce but I also like Aerosmith and artists like Pink. Sometimes I find myself getting very interested in a certain subject or topic and I will watch documentaries and try to learn everything about it I can. I enjoy watching movies and a lot of shows on HBO. I can't really stand a lot of reality TV but I do like American Idol (don't judge me lol). I spend a lot of time with my family and friends. My work is very important to me and I take pride in being a hard worker. I think one of the most important things to know about me is that I kind of tell it how it is and don't have time to play games. I just want to meet someone who is looking for a companion in life and someone to share and make new experiences with. I don't need a man, I just want one and I think that may be what sets me apart from some other women in the dating scene. I will not be "hanging out" or "chillin at your house" for a first date. We will be meeting in a public place maybe over a drink or dinner. And if you want to start a debate about how women should be paying for the first date in ***then do not message me. Well Here we go huh?? lol. I am a single mother of two beatuiful children. I have a 5 year old and a 4 yr old. You probably will not meet them. I am very protective over my kids and their feelings, until there is "something". I work hard. I have two jobs and attend college full time. I have a busy schedule. (we can talk about the reasons later) Is driven to do well in life. Has a great personality. I believes this is what makes someone.. Someone that takes care of their children, if you have any. You HAVE to like and get along with kids. With online dating there has to be some sort of physical attraction.. (thats all I am going to say about that)I dont mind to chat and be friends.. thats all cool But I hate to be lead on.. Dont say you are ready for a relationship and only to find out that your not.. I am sure there are things that I am missing. If you have a gf,wife, or just want sex.. please move on... I am not the one for you!! I have morals and try to do things right. I will put all my effort into the right person. I listen to all kinds of music, anything that has words. lol. But country has my heart! I am not a picky person and I am open to new things.. I dont like to make decisions like that. I just go with the flow... Would like to do something that we can get to know each other.. Nothing that puts the stress of a first date on us!! lol
