I'm a warm and strong but independent and slightly stubborn person. I work hard at a job I really enjoy (most of the time) and happen to be pretty good at. And I spent the rest of my time with family and friends. I've always loved to read and do creative things but really love to be outside as well. I'm not ready to really settle down yet but its always fun to have someone to come home to and who knows when I find the right person. I am also interested in learning to golf this year, so if you are semi good (read: can hit the ball) and willing to teach me that would be awesome. I have my own clubs but have a hard time even hitting the ball some days ;) and I guess I should preface that request with the fact that I'm super competitive and hate not being good at things so I may not always be the best student- but I promise to try hard and not take anything too personal! I'm not a fan of movies as dates because its a cop-out and you can't get to know the person. I love trying new places, especially different restaurants with different cuisines. Its always fun to go somewhere neither of you have been so it can be awkward together. And it always works to grab ice cream for dessert because whether the dinner was good or bad, ice cream will always make it better! And you can take a walk as you eat it so you can work it all off! Or sunday brunch is always fun.

I have been on and off this site and have had no luck so I guess I'll give it another shot. Just looking for a honest man that has his sh*t together, who knows what they want! My friends are also incredibly important to me and I enjoy spending my free time with them either hanging out or going to small bars or pubs. I am not really into the Club scene. I am also always open to a night at home with a good movie and cuddling on the couch, yes I know it sounds cliche, but I can't help it. I am not the type of girl who needs grand gestures, I would rather simple things, like a single rose versus a dozen or a hand written note over some pre-made card. It is fun to do things big and lavish occasionally but I would almost always rather the simplistic side of things. I am looking for someone with serious intentions, I am tired of games and drama. I also am not interested in one night stands, so if that's what you are seeking, it's best to keep moving. I want someone who is kind, compassionate, caring, and not afraid to show his affection in public, within reason of course. Someone understands the importance of family and friends, especially since I am so close with mine. Also, a pet peeve of mine, is simply *** from people. If you aren't interested, that's fine, but *** completely is just rude. Open to suggestions but a walk along beach or a forest preserve followed by sitting under the stars talking, sounds good to me. The standard coffee/drinks/dinner is always good too though.
