I'm here in Daytona using capitalising on hand me down family property with the carpentry, plumbing, electrician skills my grandfather and Youtube taught me to rebuild and rent out unoccupied property owned by my family. It's financially rewarding but lacking in the intellectual stimulation I got used to. I just incorporated my first business and my current plan is to finish rebuilding these properties to the point that I create a profitable business that endures for me and my family long after I return to academia . Currently doing very well on that....now it's time to decide if I buy more property or go back to the broke grad student grind. Well I have decided to give my profile an overhaul. Reading this is probably not for the weak at heart. I have read a ton of profiles on here and although there are a lot of beautiful women on here, most of you lack substance and common courtesy. Most of you state in your profiles that you have kids and they come first. Well good for you. I'm a firm believer that if you do what you've always done, you're going to get what you always got. And that might just be why you are here on this site. Now, i'm not a super religious guy but if you go by what the bible says(I know, what is a bible these days) These should be the people in your life in order: 1). God 2). Spouse/significant other 3). Children. Because if you spend 20 years taking care of your kids, what kind of a relationship/marriage are you going to have when you have an empty nest? A broken one. And you will be right back on here looking for someone to make you happy, etc. Also, I see a lot of this: "if you send me a message, say more than hi or hey baby, etc. Spark my interest so I will want to message you back." Well how about this: If a guy reads your profile and puts forth the time and effort to send a sincere message, give that gut some respect and common courtesy and at least message him back and thank him. If you are not interested, tell him. Have some class ladies. I totally get why you do those types of things. It's your defense mechanism. If you go into your next relationship with what you left your last one with... You are going build the same house as you had before. I challenge you ladies to actually read more profiles. READ them. There's a ton more to the male gender than what his profile picture looks like. Now, I'm by no means the best looking guy in the world. I know this. However you are not the best looking woman either. I challenge you not to get too caught up in looks. In 30 years, that cute, good looking guy isn't going to look nearly as good and neither are you. I challenge you to look more for substance i.e. brain vs braun. These are the types of things that I see on here amongst other things that make me want to delete my profile. However, I work a lot and take care of my kids so I don't have a lot of time to get out and meet people. I do have some faith in this site, I know of success stories. Now let me tell you a little about myself and what I'm looking for. I have a good job, you should have one too. I'm looking for something long term and to be married again, you should be too. Wildly creative with a love of the outdoors. I’’t believe how much I love this city. I’m discovering plenty to do in town, and plenty to escape out to do as well. I’m active duty in the Coast Guard, and it’s afforded me some great opportunities to travel and live around the country.
