I grew up with nine siblings, and so I am really good at sharing and coming up with an acceptable compromise in an argument. I'm also really talented at changing diapers, since seven of those siblings are younger than me :-) Gross! Anyway, change the subject... I like most genres of music at least a little, but I don't like it when they scream nasty things. Lastly, I'm one of the kindest, nicest, most giving people you will ever meet! A good first date starts with conversation. Going out to coffee is a start. Going for a walk is also a fun first date. Anything fun sounds great!

As far as being high maintenance don't get me wrong I love to get dolled up and girlie to go out. But generally I'm a T-shirt and jeans kind of girl. I don't cry over a broken nail or getting dirty. I would take hanging out with a bunch of friends around a bonfire with some drinks over going to a club to dance. I do want someone who wants to go out and have fun but would also be just as happy spending time with me at home. I'm hoping to meet someone to go out and have fun with and let what happens happen. But I'm also not interested in a hook up. I want to find a meaningful relationship. Online dating is not much different than online shopping, in my opinion. You can search and search for just the right one, examine it, do research on it, imagine what it would be like to have it with you, but ultimately you're at the mercy of the seller's description and product details. Sometimes it arrives and it’s exactly what you anticipated, but after a more thorough inspection, it didn't quite meet your (almost always) unrealistic expectations. Other times you anxiously await it's arrival and when it finally appears, it's so far from what you were led to believe to be true that you have to immediately check your online receipt to make sure you didn't accidentally order the wrong item. Then, once in a great while, you are pleasantly surprised by what you see in front of you and upon further examination, it only continues to exceed your very reasonable expectations....And once you find what you like, you order one in every color;--led.We're all imperfect beings in a flawed world searching for a needle in a haystack. First dates can be extremely awkward, so I think it's a good idea to do some sort of activity so that there's not so much pressure to make un-natural conversation because the activity itself gives you something to talk about and relate on.
