If I had to descibe myself in one word it would be unique. It is safe to say that I am not like most girls out there. I have spent my life enjoying the people I meet and being there for those when they have needed it. My beliefs are simple, treat people the way you yourself would want to be treated. That being said, it seems as I get older I find myself trying to spend less time and energy on those that have proven not to deserve it. Some days are better than others, just like everyone else. There is not enough space to go into all of my intersts. It is easier to say what I do not like; wresting, boxing, horror movies, tuna, snakes... and the list goes on. At this point in my life my interests are what makes me smile and taking on new experiences.After recently been asked what I DO want in a guy, I realize it is very simple to put into words. The guy I spend my time with wants to hold my hand when we are together. He must have a great smile and most of all like to actually show it!! My ideal man pays enough attention to me to let me know he cares but not too much to drive me away. The guy for me is funny, challenging, strong willed and consistent. Good luck to all of you guys out there...I have finally figured out what I want the hard part is actually finding it!Last, but certainly not least, I am a very strong minded and out-spoken woman. A man that I choose to spend time with should be very confident and not be afraid to speak their mind. I am very fun, sometimes too much fun, and insecure men cannot handle that. Honestly, if you are the type of person who likes to be told exactly what you WANT to hear then you better move on. It is challenging to describe what your ideal first date would be without coming close to a Cinderella fairy tale. In reality, we all know that the fairy tale does not work especialy for people like me. The key is to keep it simple but fun. The fairy tale can always come later!! With that all being said, my ideal first date would probably be simple...dinner, drinks and some sort of sports game on TV. It is important to me to keep things as real as they can be especially in the beginning. Most mature adults, including myself, want to not play games and be who they really are from day one. I do not want to waste my time or someone else's for that matter pretending to be something we are not.

I am looking to find a special chemistry with someone that will lead to sharing moments together and hopefully a long term meaningful relationship based on trust and respect. so, looking for the casual hookup? dating with nothing seriuos/no commitment in mind? not for me, so please don't respond. so, i know everyone is attracted to different things,but i've realized there are some basics i am looking for. my preference is a tall man (i am 5'10 in flats) who is intelligent and has a good sense of humor. there is nothing sexier than a great exchange of witty banter. also, someone who is height/weight proportionate. u don't need to be a gym rat, but lead a healthy lifestyle. remember, describing oneself as athletic does not mean you enjoy watching sports! enough said about that. on a more positive note: buzz words for me include honesty with values and morals, adventurous, humorous, intelligent, and spontaneous. why is it so hard to meet good people nowadays? i enjoy travel, movies, restaurants, theatre, shows, comedy clubs, festivals, some concerts, etc. really, i like to scan what's coming in town and try out new things. so, on the flip side, there are some buzz words that would disqualify you as a dating candidate for me.... these include addiction (of any kind), jail, felony, cheater...you get the picture. i am open to trying new things, and have a variety of interests that i would like to share and learn new things from another person. i am comfortable in jeans and a t-shirt, but can clean up real nice. i am also more of a low maintenance girl. i can be ready in 15 min or less, and don't wear tons of makeup. anyways, would love to meet a man with whom i can create a meaningful connection with and enjoy each other's company with the goal of something more serious to evolve if the chemistry and all the moving parts match up. i wish everyone good luck on their search and look forward to meeting some great people!ps... ps - ;) probably coffee or a quick lunch somewhere.
