So is this where I list all my irresistible attributes that will have you falling all over yourself to meet me? So how do you sell yourself? I'm not really sure. I'm funny, kind, caring as we all are one here right? I would love some romance in my life again. And I know it's almost standard on here but I'm just not going to do the shirtless bathroom mirror selfie...it's just too cheesy. ;) I want a relationship to be an adventure. It is so much work getting to know someone and I don't want to rush it. I'd rather have fun, try new things and just let things fall into place. There has to be physical attraction but that can't be all there is. What's the worst that could happen? We have a new friend? What a horrible prospect! Please appreciate sarcasm and don't take yourself and everything around you too seriously. Life is about making the most of what you have and enjoying every minute of the ride. I'm not a jealous person or a drama queen and I'm actually not jut saying that! I do expect to be treated with respect no matter the situation because that is how I treat people. You can disagree about many things but disrespect and ***'t something I want in my life. I have 2 children 19 & 12. If you consider children to be a hassle, inconvenient or "baggage" then we definitely won't be a good fit. I've always been active and now that my daughter is older we are looking at more challenging activities, I'd say my son but he has discover a life of his own lately. I've recently taken up running and did the Grind for the first time this spring after talking about it for years! Adventure Time is on the horizon and I want to seize it. Something casual. Grab a tea...I don't drink coffee & go for a walk. Something where we can get to know each other a bit before we decide to go to a movie where we don't talk to each other for 2 hours and then go home. We can save that for later :)

In an attempt to set myself apart from the majority of women on here...I have only TWO children - both from the same father. I know... it's bizarre.I have a job, not just a job, but a career I love. Found an old bowling alley at a salvage yard and had it put in as my kitchen counters. So cool. I don't have a tv, but do sneak a couple hours a week watching a show on the computer with my kids. If you enjoy life a much as I do, maybe we should see if we enjoy each other. I like to take chances and try new things. I take pleasure in learning new things and learning about myself as well (as much as I know me, I still surprise myself sometimes, ha, ha). I appreciate personal growth and it is important that my match does too. I believe there is something we can learn from almost every situation, but often times people miss out because they are not open to change and growth. I strive to be the best person I can be, and the person I am looking for feels the same. Some would say I'm spontaneous, but I'm not sure. If driving an hour to the next town on a "school night" because someone at work that day told me about a great ice cream shop, then I guess I am! Ha, ha! I'm into salvage hunting and my dream is to have my own upholstery shop since I'm the entrepreneurial type. I like to take old ratty things and beautify them again (dressers, lamps, chairs, etc.). Anything crafty or creative is fun for me, that's a great stress reliever for me, not that I have much stress. I love my job & I am looking for someone who is close with their family also & values spending time with them whenever possible (my extended family has a family reunion every two years and I love that we make the effort to do that). I enjoy Home Depot, so if you know your way around a toolbox, then maybe you're the guy for me. Home renos? Bring them on! I am an active person and am looking for someone who has the same interest in taking care of their body and eating well (while still appreciating the occasional ice cream)! What else - I love to sing and once you get to know me you'll see that I sing a lot, even when I don't realize I'm doing it. That is definitely not me! I enjoy anything that gets me outdoors - hiking, biking, rowing, road trips & leisurely strolls with great conversation included. I've spent a lot of my life focusing on my career and that has made for some amazing opportunities and adventures. But, I'm now at the point where I'd like to focus a bit more on some other areas that will make for a balanced, well-;I'm not about to spend the next 50 years of my life with someone that I'm not going to run into in the hereafter." Ha, ha. Seriously though, I am a Christian and I believe it's important to have similar values in this area. But, I consider one's religion to be a personal thing, so I'm not one of those people that goes around trying to convert every person they meet. For example, a day of hiking with a picnic lunch. I also enjoy movies, so I never say no to a movie evening, but that might be a better for later dates once we know each other better since there would not be much opportunity to talk (unless you are one of those people who talks during the whole movie, ha, ha). Mini Golf is fun too. Or, I've always wanted to go on one of the dinner cruises on the lake. Perhaps volunteering for an event or for organization? I love helping make a difference in the community (which is why most of my jobs have been in the non-profit sector). Basically, I enjoy exploring new places or trying most new things, so I'm open to almost anything really. Anything that gives the opportunity to find out more about each other while doing something active and fun.
