I like to think I am a well balanced nerd. On the practical side I am a high school English teacher. I also work a part time at the outlet mall off of I-40. I own my own home, and I like to garden. I have three dogs and a cat. I like to cook and bake when I have the energy. I make a mean cupcake. I'm not particularly athletic. In high school I was in theater and choir and dance. I did a little dance in college too.I am kind of a nerd according to my students. I watch Doctor Who, play some video games when I have the time, and read sci-fi/ fantasy books when I have the free time. I don't do online gaming, but I do own a PS3 and am looking forward to the PS4. I love the Firefly series and movie. I used to work renaissance fairs in college and high school. I am crafty, I make stuff and sell it on etsy and I sometimes do conventions and craft fairs with my stuff.I don't follow sports, but I can talk about football, basketball, and baseball. I do occasionally enjoy a good game of football. I like hip hop, rock, some metal, dub step, country, and show tunes. On average I listen to pop/rock. I watch just about every kind of movie. I love horror and action but I'm a girl and so romantic comedy does own a little piece of me. I'm kind of picky about my comedy, I don't do stupid comedy. I did however love Waiting and most other Jim Carrey movies.I generally only drink socially or if I have a really bad day. I don't have a problem with it, I just don't for some reason. I own a hookah but have never been to a hookah bar. Always wanted to, but never have. I don't smoke anything else and never have. I like going out to movies,art walks, and shopping. My favorite food is Asian, specifically sushi of all kinds. I am not a club scene kind of girl. While I like them for specific occasions and parties I don't think they are good for first dates. Something quiet with culture or that shows your personality would be amazing . Maybe dinner at a fun restaurant and then like a jazz bar, or fun quirky dessert shop then drinks. I am a bit of a hopeless romantic so there is that. Really I just want originality and effort. Even if the service sucks, and the food is burned, and the speakers blow out, if it is obvious you put in effort that's all that really matters to me.

I like to be outside when OK weather is nice. Hiking, fishing, going to the lake, picnics, walks, Thunder Basketball, OU football, road trips to no where or just sitting on the patio enjoying a good book and a good snuggle!.. LOL, I know such a chick... I am taking my last 2 classes to finish my bachelors degree and will hopefully start my Masters in May ***. I have goals and aspirations to excel in life and have a great paying job to allow me to do what I want. I want a man who knows how to take care of a woman in her emotional needs. I want somebody who has manners!! Opens the door for me, says please and thank you, tells me I look nice when I get all dolled up for a date. I am somebody who can wear shorts and t-shirt and talk all dirty with a group of the "guys", but can get all dressed up for a black tie event and take home to momma. I love kids, but haven't found the right guy to have kids with. Also, not 100% sure I want to have my own kids in this society, but for the right guy who takes care of me and shows me that I'm the most important thing I would be willing to have kids. I want to feel like the most important person in the man's heart. I don't mind if the guy has kids full or part time, but I've done the baby mama drama and don't want to do that again. I like PDA so you have to be willing to hold hands, hug, kiss, snuggle. I love to laugh and joke around, but know we have bills and life to afford so I have a serious side. There is so much more I could write about, but that will be up to somebody fitting this criteria and sending me a message to get to know me more.... I love Mexican food so I would have to say a first date to eat Mexican food. It doesn't have to be anywhere fancy. Somebody willing to pick me up and open the car door and say I look pretty. Then after dinner go someplace quiet to talk to get to know you better like a coffee shop or park depending on the weather. And then drop me back off like a gentleman not expecting to get laid on the first date. I don't work that way. Also, it's nice to not really have to plan the date. Have the guy think of something romantic to do is always nice.

I could tell you everything about myself, but I would rather just say some basics and have you discover everything else later. First, goals are really important to me, and I have worked really hard to meet mine. I recently got my first teaching job, and I am really excited about it! I would hope you would find meeting your goals important as well. I am probably very different from most people on this site, but hopefully I can find someone with similar hopes and dreams. I am more of a homebody than anything, but I do like to go out sometimes. I am new to this area so knowing where to go is hard. I would love to have someone show me. Back home I loved hanging out with my friends and would occasionally have a night out with the girls. However, most of the time I enjoyed hanging out with them at my house our theirs: around the pool during the summer or around a campfire as as the weather gets colder.
