About Me

I am a laidback, funny, spiritual person who is looking for someone to date and possibly more. Someone who wants to be more than a f buddy but not necessarily want to get married at this very moment. Someone who wants to go to movies, dinner, music events, etc...you know...date! I have had plenty of hobbies in the past but the only one I have really held onto is reading: I LOVE to read! Maybe for the escape of it all? Perhaps you will be the one who helps me to have adventures and go to exciting places? BTW I also LOVE to travel but have not done so for quite a while.I work as a chemical and mental health counselor at a residential facility for adults. I like my job but need something more in my life I just don't know what. When I say I am a spiritual person I mean that I like reading about different cultures and what they believe. I would say I am more Buddhist than Christian but I am open to many ideas and believe I am always willing to learn something new.My taste in music is mostly soft rock I guess annd includes DMB, Aerosmith and many others. Anything but Rap, Bluegrass and Opera. For a first date I would like to meet for coffee to see if we are compatible and have good chemistry. Maybe the second date would be dinner and a movie. I am an old-fashioned girl in some ways and will not sleep with someone on the first date. Don't get me wrong I am no prude but I DO have some standards! By the way, if you are not willing to make an effort to be with me move on...NEXT!!!

    Friends tell me I'm funny, caring, smart, strong, compassionate and dependable. I am self employed, have been for over 9 years - I love the freedom of it. I am an odd mix of socially liberal and fiscally conservative with a generous helping of Libertarianism thrown in for good measure.
