Hello there!Thanks for stopping by! So, a little bit about myself. I love nature, whether I'm hiking in a park, splashing in the waves at the beach, horseback riding in the Eastern Sierras, or just taking care of my koi pond out back. My hobbies also include singing, piano playing, volleyball, photography, creating music videos, gardening – nothing like fresh picked berries, cooking, and working out to keep healthy. I’m a city girl with a country heart! I still have lots of places I want to see and lots of things I want to accomplish. Currently I am working on writing an original song and recording it in the studio. So if you can sing or play a musical ***, you get extra brownie points!!Something Interesting About Me: I love animals! Sometimes I go shopping with my parrot and browse the nursery section of Home Depot with her perched on the shopping cart. I always get a kick out of the people’s shocked expressions as I pass by, but it makes for some interesting conversations! :)Overall, I consider myself a sweet, easy going, loyal, and down to earth woman. I like challenging myself in new ways, breaking out of my shell, and reflecting on how I've personally grown. I value honesty, solid friendships, and open communication. Without those qualities, it’s hard to move to the next level. I worked hard in school and admire people with ambition. But at the same time, I want someone who will compliment my fun, playful, and sometimes sarcastic personality. Please have a sense of humor and don’t take life too seriously! I'm looking for someone who is laid back, fun-loving, respectful, positive, has a moral compass, and yet isn't afraid to let loose and make some life-changing memories with someone special...like me! :) I enjoy meeting people at coffee houses, parks, malls, and public places like that.     I love to go for walks, or go to the dog park with my roommate. I enjoy going out with my friends to eat, to dance, or just to have fun. Yoga is one of my favorite ways to de-stress and relax. Then again, I like to read or watch something on netflix for the same purpose. It's important to me that my home is neat and tidy because its much more pleasant that way. I'm a math teacher, which I love doing. I have also been a church pianist since college, and I love it! Getting paid to do something I truly enjoy, is the best :-) My main goals in life are to continue being happy, and to feel like I am making the world a better place. I also strive to become a better person in every way that I can, and I like to learn new things. I grew up with nine siblings, and so I am really good at sharing and coming up with an acceptable compromise in an argument. I'm also really talented at changing diapers, since seven of those siblings are younger than me :-) Gross! Anyway, change the subject... I like most genres of music at least a little, but I don't like it when they scream nasty things. Lastly, I'm one of the kindest, nicest, most giving people you will ever meet! A good first date starts with conversation. Going out to coffee is a start. Going for a walk is also a fun first date. Anything fun sounds great!
