On the "surface", I am an active, adventurous, curious about life, fairly balanced, sensual and caring person. It is about connecting with people, even if you don't understand what they are saying - just as you would connect to a piece of music or a painting that speaks to you, even though you may not have a formal understanding of them. Likewise, it is the connection to and the feelings for each other that make a partnership strong and deep and passionate, not the "doing things" together. Connection for me happens when I can open my heart and soul to my partner, when I feel so safe that I allow myself to be vulnerable - and when he feels that he can do the same in reverse. It is the little things in life that make all the difference in this respect: an open smile, a gentle touch, a comforting hug, a soft kiss, tuning into the other person, listening, accepting. Like everyone else I have my flaws, but I try to be aware of them and to improve on them while keeping true to my authentic self. I would expect from a partner that he would do the same about himself. I'm pretty independent, but am ready to have a more constant male presence in my life again. This person must be honest, loyal, faithful, kind, have a sense of humour, have interests of their own, be somewhat active and professionally & financially stable.
