I am a hardworking, self-sufficient woman. I was a single mother for years. I could not figure out how to date and be a good parent simultaneously. So, decided to focus on being a mom first...especially since I only had one shot at being a parent. I always figured I would have time for myself later. Well, suddenly I find that time has come! The one problem...I have been out of the dating scene for so long, I'm not sure how to go about dating now! Things have changed in the past 10 years and I have gotten older. That said, I'm not getting any younger or hotter! LOL! So, if you are not looking for a relationship, PLEASE DO NOT APPLY WITHIN! Marriage is not a necessity...but I would not rule it out completely. Maybe one day I'd be willing to go there again. But really I'm just looking for a partner in crime. Someone to have fun with and go on adventures with. There are no set requirements for first date. Meeting for a drink or to have coffee is fine. A long walk (accompanied by my dog of course) at a park or cemetery (and no I don't mean a dark, scarey, weird place). Dinners seem to me a bit too much for a first date. If the chemistry is not there, it can make for a long, uncomfortable meal! Same with movies, and movies do not afford the ability to talk and get to know one another.

Empty nester, and loving it..child is happy and in college, and now have time for my own passions. I have been widowed 8 years, have mourned in my earlier years...but now I embrace myself for realizing the true beauty and importance of life. I dont sweat the small stuff, no drama, that is way to exhausting...don't lie or play games...hell I can't remember what I lied about, and can't remember where I left off playing the game...lol. I do not sit around trying to figure out how to mess with someones life....do people really do that? I am country but, not redneck but, it has shown itself once in awhile I have a wonderful light hearted sense of humor and love to tell jokes and when you're not looking I will think of a prank to pull on you so you must have a good sense of humor. I am a very affectionate person and will hug you every time I see you with a big smile on my face and will probably tell you how much you mean to me when I'm getting off the phone. I'll probably be cuddled up against you watching a movie and curled up against you sound asleep at night.I love a man who has a great sense of self confidence I think that is sexy. I really love a man who has a soft heart for animals and children I hope to have a great time with my grandchildren later in life for now my daughter says I'm going to have grand puppies. I enjoyed being around a man who is active and loving. I love a man who is rational and reasonable but will stand his ground and fight for what he believes in.What the hell is the deal with the question..Do you have a car? No I have a lear jet, so your driveway must be a runway...so I can land my plane..chuckle. I am always a good sport and I think someplace relaxed and casual is always good where you can sit and talk.
