I have decided to spread my wings a little and pursue one of my dreams which involves working with wildlife and to do so will be heading back to school for a degree in wildlife management. My children are my animals (4 dogs, 4 cats and a horse) and they are a large part of my happiness in life. And yes...two of my pups do sleep in my bed. I am an avid dart player (steel-tip) and have played competitively for the past 15 years. Enough of the specifics now down to the nitty gritty....Most would describe me as loyal, optimistic, loving, big heart, empathetic, hardworking, goofy, silly, sometimes hardheaded, and determined. I enjoy making people smile and laugh and helping others to succeed when they are willing. At the same time I enjoy being around people who are positive and not constantly drowning themselves purposely in the drudgeries of life. I have traveled that road and have learned that focusing on the negative only takes you further down. I have an aversion to spending too much time with those who are judgemental and criticising of others. Learning from experience when you fall in that trap of judging others one cannot grow within...and it becomes a crutch and suffocator of happiness in life. I prefer to be with real people. I know that sounds funny...all people are real..right? People who are true to themselves. Those are the ones who will be true to you. Again...learned from experience. Enough for now. I live on Whidbey Island and love it here. Walks on the beach almost daily, community events just a great life style for me. Looking for someone to share it with. I have been told I am down to earth and love life.I work with at risk youth in vocational training to give them skills to find a job and stay out of trouble or get off the streets. I also work at a soup kitchen to feed the homeless and people in need. It has opened my eyes to appreciate what I have. I have lived the big house, cars, boat and toys life. But maybe a small rambler would be more comfortable. I tend to care deeply and will wear my heart on my sleeve.Why do guys lift their chin when taking their pics? I can see your nose hairs. AND must love dogs. She is super cute and cuddly and has bad manners and licks some but isn't so rude to sniff your butt. I would enjoy planning it together. I am open to coffee or something to drink, walk the boardwalk or go to a local festival and enjoy lunch.

NOT SEEKING INTIMATE ENCOUNTERS First off I'm a single Mom and I work VERY hard. If you DON'T like kids..(or my dogs) .. we won't get along. I work very hard at what I do...and I like to relax and have fun. My career is in healthcare and I'm surrounded by folks who are physically and emotionally dependant on me for their every need. This means I like to relax and mellow out after work -- not see how many clubs can be seen in a night. First date? Hmmmm I'm a coffee and tea drinker...I DO drink, albeit more socially or with friends. I used to go dancing all the time but after working so many consecutive years in healthcare running on my feet all day/night, I kind of lost the drive to do so LOL...yet I do like to do so from time to time. I love to shoot pool even though I'm terrible at it. I have a minor competitive streak that comes out of me when surrounded by good friends, laughter, pool tables n beer.
