I used to be sort of biased against online dating, but I figured this is the age of information and this is probably the most efficient way of meeting new people. Some would say it lacks a certain romance, but think I'm okay with it.I guess the best way to describe me is that I'm reaaallllly mellow. It takes a lot to get me worked up about things. I seem like a serious person if you don't know me, but that is not really the case. I have a real dry sense of humor that most people find charming. At least it seems like they do. HahaI enjoy reading a lot, but I'm not against TV or movies or anything like that. I'd probably say my favorite book is ***, but it's one of those things hard to pin point, like when someone asks you what your favorite movie isWhen I was younger I was "punk rocker" and being less mature than I am now, naturally I felt that meant I could ONLY listen to punk rock. Don't get me wrong, I still love punk rock, but I'll listen to most anything if its good. Hip Hop, folk, metal, oldies, classic rock, alternative, indie, some electronic music, and so forthI like technology a lot. I'm pretty good on a computer. I can't program, but I've built computers even when I was pretty young. I have a grasp on web development, but I'm not like professional or anything. I can take phones apart and fix them :]Anyways, if I didn't cover it, feel free to ask :]. This actually used to be way longer, which I didn't realize until I looked at it on a phone, and I was like "Holy Cow!! That is extensive..." So I shortened it a bit I'm a simple man, who enjoys simple things. lol. Drinks and light conversation? Beach? Lunch? I'm not very picky

I'm a teacher and biologist looking to find good company in my free time (currently limited, but will increase substantially once I have taught a bit longer). I have a dry delivery but wide-ranging sense of humor and would like to share laughs, deep conversation, fresh air, exercise and so on. I believe in my work as an educator and I work extremely hard at it, but if you are driven as well and strike a good balance of street smarts and book smarts, humor and sensibility, sarcasm and positivity, we should get together sometime just to unwind - no pressure.Top Fives, at the Moment:Music - Hootie and the Blowfish, The Offspring, Beastie Boys, 2Pac, The SpecialsTV - M*A*S*Video Games - Uncharted 2, LA Noire, Mafia 2, NBA 2K13, Ken Griffey Jr.'s Winning RunBooks/Authors -- Yoga, Playstation, Drawing Old Actors, Tennis, Trying New BeersSports - Reds, Colts, Pacers, Pro Tennis, and I'll even watch NASCAR on occasion[b}Trees - Could be! Translation: intelligent, friendly, independent, supportive, consistent, calm, easy-going, low-maintenance, and humorous. I am not trying to ask for anything from you that I don't bring myself. If you are uneasy about the divorce thing (understandable, thanks for reading this far past it) I understand - let me say that if you regularly inflect and present your thoughts/feelings honestly then the central issue of that unfortunate learning experience will be avoided for us. If we are a good match, excellent. If we are not hyper-compatible, let's be friends anyway but please let's not fool ourselves and force personal changes that we cannot live with later. I generally like who I am and I need you to be comfortable enough as an individual that you don't feel the need to make drastic personal changes for me. I never have and never will expect that, and undue resentment, anger, and regret are not things I want to sign either you or me up for. I'm open-minded, but I'm not into pressurized or exceedingly romantic pretenses when I set out to get to know someone. A comfortable place and activity, calm and spacious enough to have meaningful (or ridiculous after work) conversation. Examples: coffee/drinks in a low-key establishment, a stroll around beautiful downtown Indy. I don't know, it's really not all that complicated.
