Family Budget - Worth Creating?
Household budget remains an important part of a married life. That was revealed in the course of the survey, held between 9/12/14 and 1/12/15. The poll posed the question: “Do you believe in establishing a family budget?” Overwhelming majority of people claim they would design a family budget without hesitation.
The total number of respondents was 79,303. From the USA - 88%, from Canada 2%, from Britain - 4%, Australia – 3% and other countries – 3%.
Couples face certain difficulties while creating family budget, but the result is worth it. Laura T. Coffey, a writer and editor, is sure: “Building a budget might not be that bad – but many of us are still loath to do it. As distasteful as the task may seem, though, it really is important to map out your expenses and purchases so you can see just where your money is going.” Laura adds: “Many people have no idea how much they spend on dining out, travel, gifts, clothing, shoes and personal care. Track such expenses in specific ways, then establish realistic monthly allotments for each category.”
Family budget is very important in a life of every family. According to the article on Surfky.com, “Without a carefully designed budget, families can easily overspend and eventually find themselves facing financial peril. Building a household budget can be intimidating. Men and women do not always enjoy facing their finances head-on, but creating a household budget does not have to be an unwelcomed experience.”
Alex Cusper, Meetville service analyst, says: “Family budget is definitely a fluid thing, partners should plan it every month and control spending the money. We don’t know what economic situation we may have tomorrow or what unexpected costs we will face.”
