I cannot recall where this came from, but it has stuck with me for a long time!Just a bit about myself, I am pretty easy going. I have a great life and I have a terrific son, family and friends! I am self employed and operate a business as well as have a small part-time business on the side. I absolutely love my jobs. I love working and I enjoy people. I want to laugh. I want to make you laugh. I like to dance, go to movies...but not horror movies...they creep me out too much. I enjoy watching them at home too. sometimes snuggling on the couch with a great glass of wine is amazing!Music is a pleasure to me. don't much care for rap, but everything else iis fantastic :) We have this cool little live music venue in my town that I love to go to. It's small enough that you can meet the artists and it is truly fascinating to talk to these folks and learn about their music. Food and cooking are important to me. I love to create new dishes and really like to have people sample them. One of my businesses is a Bar/Restaurant so I am always trying new stuff in the kitchen. Don't you want to be my guinea pig..LOL?In this industry, you would think that I would meet plenty of ":fish" in that giant Lake I look at everyday. It is hard to meet someone at work, plain and simple. I hear from men that they find me intimidating, but I just don't see that in myself. from my perspective, I am kind, generous to a fault, attentive, bright and amusing...and slightly amused most of the time:)Yes, I am looking for a relationship and someone to grow old with, etc., etc...but I would really like to date first. I am not one to jump in with both feet. I want to find someone who is a good friend. And it may seem old fashioned but let's take it a little slowly.At the same time, I would like to find that guy who can support me emotionally and mentally and will treat me with respect and learn to cherish me; we all derserve that....not just women, but MEN TOO! My son is involved in Boy Scouts, he just got his Star rank. So I'm actively involved in Scouting, it is great to watch these young men learn things. That also means I get "kid free weekends" when he is gone camping & doing activities!! :)I like to watch & go to hockey games, Blackhawks & IceHogs. We are season ticket holders for the IceHogs. Very happy that hockey has started again!!! I'm also a Cubs & Bears fan. Some of my other interests are: camping, biking, working out, watching sports, traveling, & spending time with my son. Love to spend time outside & I'm not afraid to get dirty. Some of my favorite places to visit....; Taking pictures is a favorite hobby, nature & sporting events. Love to work around my yard, I have a green thumb.Love all kinds of music.....besides rap. Depends on my mood, I can be listening to country, 80s music, classic rock, etc.I'm looking for a family man who enjoys sports & the outdoors.
