My original profile inexplicably disappeared over the weekend when meetville updated their site and I lost all messages, favorites, etc. Anyone else experience this phenomenon?I'm a happy, out-going, independent and confident individual who is looking for the same in my man. I love life's simple pleasures, but like to splurge every now and then. I love the outdoors and consider myself to be athletic. I have played on the same co-ed softball team for 14 years and love it. I'm on a bowling league and play sand volleyball. I have taken ballroom and belly dance lessons. I love to travel, regardless of the destination - but Vegas and the beach are my favorites.I'm emotionally and financially secure. I don't like to waste time, but I am a slow emotional mover. Hello fellow fishies, Not sure where to start, so let me just give you some basics:I'm a Taurus, so I guess I'm a little stubborn by nature...but only because I'm usually right! lol...I love animals. So if you don't...don't bother with a msg. My only regret in life is not pursing a career in animal care of some sort. Family is very important to me. I like good conversation with someone who has something to say. It doesn't always have to be deep and meaningful but interesting is good. I enjoy all the usuals: movies (thrillers, drama), tv (House, The Closer, Project Runway, etc), ball games (Go Wolfpack!), dining out, grilling out, etc... I've been known to read multiple books a week. I prefer thrillers/mysteries but read other genres, too.; Coben are a few authors I like. When listening to the radio I am up and down the dial: pop, country, oldies, classic rock, hip hop/r&b. I love animals and volunteer at a local shelter.My ideal guy is intelligent, funny, caring, loves animals, and enjoys my sense of humor/wit/sarcasm. He should enjoy socializing and going out but also want/appreciate time at home; no bar flies, please. Hopefully, he can use a lawn mower, grill, and toilet seat; I'm willing to teach him to mow. :-) If it's a first meeting, it should be quick: coffee, ice cream, etc... If it's a real first date, dinner is good for talking and getting to know each other. Or how about bowling? Fun, low key, and everyone looks great in those shoes!

Thought I'd give this a try and see what happens. I am changing many things in my life and looking for new adventures/friendships/relationships.I believe honesty and a sense of humor are very important. For fun I like to do a little bit of everything..dinner out, discovering new places, walks along the lake/river-walk, listening to live music, being with friends, movies, mini-golf, laser tag, go-karts, getting lost in a book store, I do play an occasional video game (you would probably win)...it's not so much what you do that matters, it's who you do it with...as long as you are both having fun enjoying each other's company all is good :) Last summer I went zip lining for the first time...loved it! Looking forward to going again. I will admit I failed at riding a segway...but maybe one day I will try it again.I'm not into the games that come along with dating. Let's be honest you aren't going to connect with everyone you meet and that's okay just don't be rude about it. As far as the just dating part of this...yes everything starts off as a date, of course if the right person comes along who wouldn't go with that. I've learned to never say never because you just don't know what will happen or who is out there.
