I have an open-mind and prefer to spend time with other people who do as well. I am a firm believer that there are many different sides to each story, and view most things in a positive way. I do have some "blond-moments" every once in a while, but consider myself a smart woman who stands up for what I believe in. I've been told I am easy to talk to. I am encouraging and stand behind/support my man's decisions. I am fully capable of taking care of myself, but prefer to be with someone who wants to do "life TOGETHER." For example, running errands can be a drag at times, but if you get to spend that time with someone you care about, it makes the time go by much faster!Communication is essential for any relationship. I have found that relationships work best when two people sincerely WANT to put forth the effort it takes to make it last. ***= ideal. I am hopeful to meet someone who shares the same ideas about relationships as I do. I admit that there have been times when I have held onto a relationship longer than I should, merely because I am not the type of person to 'give-up' on something/someone. I've never had the "I just want to play the field" attitude; I've always wanted something meaningful with just ONE guy. What I look for in a partner: A man who loves Jesus!, is not intimidated by me, is intelligent, patient, funny, and honest. Someone with a positive outlook on life, and who genuinely cares about both his and my future. A man who is mature, romantic, friendly, loyal, and considerate of others. A man of integrity.Confidence = good! Full of yourself = not good.The little things matter most. I always want to make my man happy, so I want the same in return. When a guy stops trying to impress me, I usually lose interest. A gentleman who opens doors and who wants to get the know ME rather than being overly-interested in my body. You don't have to be the most attractive person, but I want to be with someone who cares about his appearance. I think it is important to stay physically active and and make an effort to look attractive for yourself and for your partner.Finances are important to me. Salary is not as important as the ability to manage your money well and live within your means. Someone who appreciates me and the things I do for them. (A simple "thank you" works just fine!) A guy who doesn't like to be social or spend a lot of time together is NOT the kind of guy I am looking for ...when two people like each other, I think it is natural to want to see them often; I'd rather be companions :)Major BoNuS points for a great smile and/or for someone with the same music interests as me!*I may seem picky, but I have high expectations because I have a lot to offer in return & simply want to be with someone who is compatible with me : ) I think I covered a lot in the previous section, so I'll just leave it at that! haha

Sooooo I might have a bit of a travel addiction, and luckily for me, my job is very accommodating. I also did a 6 month assignment in St. Croix a few years back. I'm a minimalist and am REALLY good at packing! Working in the emergency room as a nurse fits really well with my fast-paced, thrill-seeker type of attitude. Although I only work three twelve hour shifts a week, I do work hard for the money. If you know any ER nurses we excel at not urinating for 12 hours, starving, and continually telling people that you are not triaged on a first-come first-serve basis. Yes, people who have been shot get to go back before YOU!!! So what do I do when I am not saving lives.....or handing out narcotics? Well, traveling is one of my greatest passions. It allows me to escape and revel in cultures that many don't even know exist. I also love just taking off in the car and going on a road trip. Unfortunately, I have NO sense of direction and the cognitive mapping portion of my brain may or may not be missing. I'm also a sucker for live music, and spend more money on concert tickets every year, than most people do in a lifetime. I might have cried a little when the third day of ACL got cancelled. I'm now fused from T10-L2 and I'm not very good at yoga.... Sorry. No, I don't set off the metal detector at the airport.....why does EVERYONE ask me that?????I don't have any kids, and am unsure if I want any. I know that is going to be a huge red flag for a lot of people, but why lie on a dating website. Although I'm unsure about real children.....I sure do love my dog. She has given me more unconditional love than I probably deserve. If you don't like dogs you might not have a soul.I'm utterly obsessed with dark TV shows like breaking bad & BUT you can't google your question.............I'm a dork, but love to hit the gym or the pavement. I recently got into cycling, but I'm not very good yet. I like to stay fit, but am not afraid to eat the things I love or have a few microbrews on the weekend.!!! Lastly, I'm a hopeless romantic and truly believe that the greatest thing you'll ever learn is just to love, and be loved in return. Sadly, I've gotten the love part down but just can't find anyone to love me in return......... I am currently an exercise physiologist where I work with cardiac patients. Every day I am introduced to new and unique people which is something I really enjoy about my job.
