HI All, I'm new to this site and giving it a try since a few friends have had some success on here hoping maybe I can as well. I'm an animal lover, so much so that I went to school to work with them. My dream is to work for an animal rescue or zoo of some type. I'm outdoorsy not like some who say it but really don't. I love to go to the movies or the drive in (one of the last ones is here in my own home town) and theme parks are also one of my favorite things. my taste in music and T.V. are vast and different..from my favorite band being Aerosmith and my favorite t.v. show being M.A.S.H. to a love of something I can dance too and my need to watch cooking shows. I used to be a dancer and I'm a trained Opera singer. I love to cook and baking is one of the many things I'm good at. I can line dance like no other and can shoot a gun with some pretty good accuracy. I love my Family and I'm very close with my mom and older sister.My friends mean everything to me just like my family and I'll protect them just the same.. I'm pretty much a modern version of a 50's housewife! I have a career I love (as an American Sign Language Interpreter) and I actually enjoy "domestic duties" like cooking and cleaning.I like going out to eat, trying new restaurants and dishes, and I don't like going to loud bars or clubs. I also work as a video interpreter, where I interpret phone calls between people who are hearing and deaf.I believe that loving what you do makes for a happier life, and its important to love what you do and be proud of it. As much as I love being in the city, I also love getting out. Whether it’Some of my favorite things are Dogs, lazy Sundays, prime rib, Fall, thunderstorms, cruises, my bi-weekly manicures, and football season (Giants!). On vacations, I like spending half the time relaxing on a beach and the other half actively exploring the area. I prefer to go to local's favorites than tourist spots.I am looking for a man who knows what he wants for his future, is educated and stable in his career, chivalrous, likes/wants to travel, has ambition, couth, a desire and liking for nice things, is intelligent, family oriented, can cook a meal or two, and who communicates well. Just so we are all clear - I am NOT here for a friends with benefits/one night stand thing. I'm here to meet new people and see if something comes of it. YES PLEASE!), going to the beach(to swim and boogie board..NOT to tan!), random roadtrips, playing in the rain(I LOVE a good thunderstorm), and going to bars(to meet people and have a good time not get plastered) and clubs to get my groove thang on(I really can't dance lol). But, as much as I may enjoy a few drinks and dancing I don't do it often. I've been with my job for 8 years now. Moved up from nothing to something and I love where I'm at. Sometimes I just don't have time to go out and party it up(and sometimes I'm just too tired). I don't smoke(that includes both pot and cigarettes. Little fun fact - I've NEVER tried either!!) and I don't judge people who do. Actually I don't judge people period. Its rude and unfair - you live your life how you want and I'll live mine. I can't be bought - so flowers and chocolates(I don't like chocolate) are never good. I love random surprises(not all the time), but expect them back in return! Message me and I'll respond. And if you hit you're willing to meet me, dont just stop there..say something!! What's the worse thing that could happen? We become friends? HEAVEN FORBID! haha :) I'll tell you what I don't want to do on a first date.. Go to the movies. That truly is the worst idea ever. You can't talk and it's just awkward. Dinner isn't really that much better, at least not for a first date! Ideally? A sporting event. No joke..take me to a hockey/baseball game and I'm happy!If that's not your thing - somewhere we can talk and hangout. Walking through a park is always fun. So is a coffee shop(I hate coffee!)
