I just came back from a medical mission trip to the Dominican Republic and had a really enlightening experience. I'm much more appreciative of the life that I live here in the states. Can't wait for that trip. Plan to ride down the Amazon River and have clinic along the river (I believe there are 9 outpost that we will visit). Nothing like giving of yourself to help those that are less fortunate and live in desperate times.I am a nurse, working in a hospital.
