I am 33 years old and have two children. I just got out of a 10 year relationship with my children's father a year ago. I am looking for someone who is 1st and foremost going to be my friend, and my best friend. I am a very sweet and caring person, and I tend to think of myself as a ride or die chick who is there for her man no matter what! I am in no way shape or form materialistic like some females are these days. I don't expect gifts or to be taken out without paying my own way. I know what I want in life, and I will not settle for nothing less! I do not like guys who lie, cheat, or use people to get what they want out of life. I was with that type of person for almost 10 years so I'm pretty much great on calling someone out on there bs. I don't get all dolled up to go out somewhere... Pretty much it's what you see is what you get. I can be "girly" when I need to be but jeans and a tee are much more comfortable than a dress and heels. Plus I am pretty tall, so I prefer that u are a little taller than me. My kids are my life, and they also live with me. So I am a package deal and if u can't deal with hanging out with me and my kids at times and doing things that are suited for my kids, then u Midas well look else where. I can be VERY sarcastic, and tend to say what is on my mind. I get along with guys better than I do with females, most females are too much drama these days! I don't drink, so don't expect me to want to go and sit at a bar all night cuz that just won't happen. So if I sound interesting, or you would like to know more about me, message me. I am recently separated (going through a civil divorce). I am a mother of two boys, so much of my time is spent with them. They both play sports so we spend many evenings at practices and games on weekends. We also do a lot of "kid" activities like the zoo, bowling, arcades, etc. I do have every other weekend free, so I have been going out with friends a lot more than I used to (and enjoying it!). I have been doing new things, and I recently got my nose pierced with my 2 best friends (I put a pic up there). I am a very honest person, and I really don't like people who aren't. I also don't like inconsiderate people, which includes being late (big pet peeve!) I am responsible and I am known as the "motherly" one among my friends. But that doesn't mean I'm super serious; I can be sarcastic and pretty silly. I am Christian and I attend church regularly. I am not judgemental about it, and its fine if you don't go to church, but I do prefer someone that at least has Christian beliefs.-H!) As far as music, I definitely like pop (WNCI, I love GenX 106.7), maybe a little country. I love stuff that you can sing and/or dance to.Going from a housewife to a single mom involves a lot of changes...so I am busy moving, working, and taking care of business. Been thinking a lot, maybe a little too much. The whole dating thing isn't really me, but I guess that's what they call it before a relationship is established. For me, meeting someone is enough to figure out whether or not that other someone is truly genuine or too faulty/flaky; especially if they stick around long enough. First impressions don't go away and I understand for example- even myself has said silly/stupid things out of nervousness. However those kinds of things can be overlooked like reading between the lines. Sure I should be some what attracted and impressed by someone just being themselves no putting on a front or a disguise. Scooby Doo where are you... I want to feel mentally and emotionally connected with my future investment. If it turns out friendship is better, great the more friends the merrier. Don't know what my future husband will think of that, but I will never cheat. Back to the main point I was trying to say, I am not sure if I should be with someone or not. What I want is for all the right reasons, not everyone is on the same page though. Deep down I live with a few old fashioned values true to me and feel I deserve to be taken care of, and my child included. I'm a decent exceptional homemaker most men would only hope for, after they married or been with the wrong gal for too long to figure it out. Although I could be wrong, and I truly am the exception. The way I am able to go about things. First I like to attempt to establish a connection through messages that which breathes some of your essenses (as well as mine in reciprocation) and gives me ideas of your worth to me on a mental level. I like notes, letters, something that someone puts time and effert into tells me what I need to know. It gets my heart and soul going, if you don't have time for that and prefer short and sweet; proceed to exit now and go to the next profile as I am a waste of your precious time. It's not the real deal until it's for real-real. This country lady likes to take things a little more steady. Secondly, that comes in time and by then you'll know enough about me and my little quirks.; a treasure to call my own... Hoping to gracefully merge into a relationship with my best friend and see where it belongs in God's masterpiece. The future must be open to marriage which is what I desire to share with one man for life. The life I live has some baggage and I tell it like it is straight up and forward. Nobody is perfect, and not one cookie cutter could replicate this piece of work. I am unique, one of a kind, and hard to find. I was designed by God; No one said it would be easy for me to live my life. I just accept what is thrown at me and make the best of it each day, and keep on moving forward. Proud to say I've lost weight, and will continue to work on staying healthy. I'm not a toothpick and I never will be, I'm a real woman. Life is full of blessings and misfortunes, yet I remain grateful through out. If you like me enough or fall for me, nothing will stand in the way of true love and happiness. I can't promise that if we meet that it will work out, that is a chance both parties must make. No failure if the feeling is mutual, win-win if both parties decide it's "the one." If one is in and the other is out, that's just part of the risk we all take to see if the pieces fit.
