So I've heard there's lots of fish in the sea...sooooooo many you can't see the fish for the sea! OMG...for reeeeel...be patient with me, I'm a bit overwhelmed at times!!! Thank you for so many sweet comments etc but please read below and try to understand If I don't reply its because I'm looking for a specific type of man...I would like to see myself as someone who is not superficial, artificial, or commercial. I believe in God, I'd be nowhere without HIM, but don't have membership to any one church. I really think most people need to walk the talk. My current mission: English teacher working with juveniles and young adults to help them get their GEDs-not a job for the faint of heart! I decided to join the military at the tender age of 19 yo , cooking for airbourne rangers for two years and didn't have to pay a dime for my school. I hope to spend more time up north in the future because I miss home!! I'm thinking my future husband will probably live up north, but can't control fate.Something unique about me?... I only have antenna tv because I prefer to read a book or do something outside over being a couch potato. I once owned several rental properties which I luckily sold before the market crashed. I enjoy a night out occasionally because I love to dance. I've been on one cruise, a casino cruise, and I was sea sick the entire time! I would enjoy an art show, seeing a play, laughing at a comedy club, or listening to some jazz being played live at a winery, but I also like poetry readings, independent films, and a quiet chess game occasionally. I would like to meet someone who has an artistic side and is able to express themselves well( but that doesn't mean talking for hours on the phone about your ex drama pleeeeeease!) Some of the jobs I've had include fit model, radio news announcer, and editor of a small newspaper. I write a little poetry, been published here and there, but haven't really tried; I like reading short stories lately, trying my hand at that genre too.My goals? ...;On the Road" But, I'd love to explore more of the west coast and spend a summer in Europe someday. I am a licensed real estate agent but currently inactive...maybe when the market gets better? I would also like to become a certified yoga teacher someday. Nature walks put me at peace. If I was a millionaire, I'd run an artist community and combine all of my interests, but I don't play the lottery or gamble so I'll keep dreaming!I am divorced ***after 15 years to one man and have little to no baggage to claim - never had kids so no shared custody, debt free, no health issues or med dependency, no ex drama here, and no domineering in laws to deal with! Seeking someone who is not tied down to family or finances...needless to say I'm willing to be patient to meet the right guy. And though I'm unconventional and drive a motorcycle, I really don't feel like the woman should make the first move...it spoils the romance.ps. my heading is a symbol from my favorite movie, The Great Gatsby.pps. I KNOW IT CAN BE A DRAG TO READ THESE SO SHORT VERSION: if you are not into fitness, don't continue.....if you are a player move along as well......thank-youI would like to make new friendships and if there is that mutual click of chemistry and attraction then great, we go from there. I am not rushing things as I am hoping to find that special person that will put a smile on my face and visa versa. Nor am I looking for the numbers game or ego strokes, just one....that's all I need.HEALTH AND FITNESS are important to me as it indicates your lifestyle. What that means is that you are doing some form of exercise a few times per week or have a physical job that keeps you in shape - yes I do like muscle on a man as I am into weights myself. If this does not sound like you then please do not respond. No couch potatoes or bar stars, daily drinkers or dopers, thanks......I am not looking for perfection. Hopefully a good communicator as then we can solve most issues. I like well rounded people who are willing to experience new things.....life is meant to live right? Chemistry is more important to me than a look but you must look attractive in my eye. Hmmm, at least 5'8" as I like to wear my heels, someone who is playful, silly, fun. Goofy - yes goofy but not a goof! I like a man who has a bit of an edge but not a player or total bad boy.....confusing? I know.....does that mean possibly confident????I am a social drinker and would like to enjoy sharing a bottle of red with someone while preparing a meal, a social drink on a patio with friends is great also. I do like dancing so the odd night out shaking it is ok as well but for me, not a weekly event.I had started my family when I was young so now it is time for me, and no, I am not opposed to children....I am new g-ma and she is beautiful. With that being said, I would prefer finding someone at a similar stage in their life as myself.I had mentioned that I like motorcycles but I am not a biker chick. I am more of the gym gal who owns a bike. It would be nice if you rode too but not a must. I find that this is what riding offers me....a form of freedom, peace and quiet...sounds weird considering the noise of the bikes lol. Also, I did mention well rounded - I wear my harley gear only on a ride and that consists mainly of my jacket and boots as there is much more to me than HD. Family oriented.....I find that most of us are looking for that and it seems to be much more important as we get older. I like small towns and real people. Remember when a persons word actually meant something and you could seal a deal with a handshake?
