Some random things about who I am:--I have many throw pillows for my bed that are really pretty, but I mostly just throw them in the corner.-I do like to dress up and be “girlie,” but I prefer my favorite jeans and boots with a t-shirt.-Fall is my favorite time of the year with the changing leaves, crisp cool air, smell of a fire, and getting caught up in the excitement of football season (even though I am not a huge football fan.)-I can be really stubborn and passionate about certain issues, but can laugh at myself if I get too serious.Actually, I laugh at myself a lot; I am hysterically funny in a slapstick humor kind of way. Just the other day I tried to smell some new lotion at the store and squirted it up my nose *** greatly amused my fellow shoppers.-I love kids and watching them discover the world around them, but I don’t have any myself.-I hiked up one of the highest dunes in the Namib Desert in ***degree heat, but I do not really like to be hot.-I lived in southern Africa in Nambia for 2 ½ years and NYC for 3 years and even though I love learning about other people and cultures, home is where my heart will always be. -I love the country AND the city, but have not yet figured out how to have both at the same time, at least not without a lot of money.-Love a good adventure so much that I (mostly) camped across country while on crutches, but I also like to veg out on the couch and read or watch a movie at home. I love classic movies, dramas, some foreign films, and documentaries, but one of my favorites is “Stepbrothers.” (What can I say? It makes me laugh!)-I can be shy at times, but have been known to be the life of the party. Can usually fit in at most any social situation both locally or abroad. LOL-I will admit that I enjoy hanging out with guys sometimes dropping the F bomb (yikes) without worry, drinking beer, and just being myself, but I also love hanging out with the girls, drinking wine, shopping , talking (mostly about all those things guys dream we talk about) and still just being myself. That is why I am grateful for great friends. -I know how to say, “I am sorry” and mean it.-I guess I am goofy, quirky, serious, real, passionate, crazy, honest, genuine, compassionate, adventurous, open-minded, curious, sarcastic, loving and a whole lot more.Things I hope that you are:-Funny and can laugh at yourself-Honest and genuine-Open-minded-Somewhat adventurous and willing to try new things. Honesty is huge..I am so easy to figure out because I don't play games. If I need something from my partner, I tell them and do not make them guess. In a relationship I tend to prefer the men take the lead, but will make plans at drop of a hat. I am very old fashioned gal that was raised by strict Catholics. Was a little wild child in hight school( bless my parents heart's). but got serious during higher education. I have a great family and am very close with them, but are scattered throughout the states, save for a sister nearby. God is a very important part of my life and I go to church weekly. Anyone I dated I would need them to have a relationship with Him as well or we would never be a match. He has helped me through all my hardships and I am so in awe of Him. If you are not a Christian I do not think it could work out with you, but wish everyone luck in their search for that special person they seek. Slow dancing to sensual music at an outdoor festival. Curling up infront of a wam fire and chatting while enjoying our favorite beverage. Sharing the "pains of the day" and help eachother decompress. Sharing an awesome rollar coaster ride and laughing as we come off from it breathless...only to see the silly pictures they *** we started down the steep drop. LOL Feeding eachother morsels off from our plates when we are out to dinner and we have an excellent meal we want the other to taste....... Simple things...memorable things.... After all, that is what this life is all about, making memories to carry with us. So I can honestly say ALL of that is truthful and open and honest. Right down to being a very small bbw. Still reading? As you can see I am VERY VERY direct. I write as if I am sitting accross from you having coffee or a drink. ( So if a direct mannor is going to constantly be mistaken for mean, angry, or ****y? This could be problematic. I am none of those, I am simply DIRECT.) Side NOTE: If you are married or have a girl friend, pass me by. I don't like to hurt others, I am not into causing problems, and I don't need drama in my life. Although some of it eventually finds us all, I try to avoid drama if I can help it.
