I have been searching for a few years now to find someone for a longterm relationship. It is not easy to find someone in my age group who has a similar semi-retired lifestyle.ABOUT ME: Of course there is much more to know, (I have had a very adventurous life and the grass does not change colour under my feet, nor does the sand sink very much, lol.); but this below touches on some major basic points.I am 55, almost 56; I have 2 daughters, ages 31 and 34 and I have 4 lovely grandsons.I love children and people of all ages, but am not a huge socialite, prefering to spend more time at home or with one or two other couples (I don't like crowds or crowded places.)I left an 18-year relationship because he got old and grumpy and I knew there had to be more to life. I then had a 4-year relationship with a man from a different country and there were too many differences. I have now been basically on my own for over 3 years and really not liking living alone very much. I would love to have a man in my life, the one who will do me for the rest of my life hopefully.My two biggest prerequesites in men are a sense of humor, a loving and romantic man who likes attention and someone who can spend months somewhere south on a beach in the winter.-end of things, no fancy resorts, but a rented apartment for ***month. I currently own a van, but have owned an RV in the past. I have not attempted any single RV trips as of yet. I have a dream of having one of those old English double--storey motorhome (no basement needed, as the newer RVs have - got too much junk that you need a basement then get rid of the junk!) I am very honest and down to earth. I do not play games. I know what I want out of life. I generally do my part-time work on the computer (medical editing), around domestic chores, however, I do not really have a set schedule. I prefer to 'work around my life' *** 'living around my work'. I like my place, whether it be a house, trailer, apartment, bungalow, RV or wherever I am living, to have plants and flowers and nice color- I no longer own a house. I do not watch much television, but like sitting and crocheting while my partner watches TV (so the remote is all his), I like to go for walks, picnics, lunches at small quaint places. I am not a city woman, and not high maintenance. I like to spend time on my computer, I do enjoy the computer other than work, researching things, communicating with family and friends, etc. I am not addicted to any video games. My birthday is on Nov 29, ***and I am a sagittarius. I do not like stress of any kind, I do not like to be rushed. Also, I am not a health nut, but am encourageable.I do not cheat when I am in a relationship. I do not like one-night stands, or even two-month stands for that matter, but would like to find long term. I don't like good-byes.As for nasty habits, I am currently taking Champix, and have cut down to a few cigs a day, expecting to be totally quit next week, I do drink, but do not frequent lounges or bars. I am not into drugs of any kind. I have been gettting away from winters here quite regularly in the last bunch of years.I am not one to have dinner at 4 and bed at 10. I get up when I feel like it, take afternoon naps sometimes and go to bed when I am tired, whether it be early or late. I have been married twice (2 strikes I am still in the game), so will do my best not to strike out on the last marriage of my life.- lol. (not on the first date I guess).Realistically, a snack or lunch with a glass of spirits on an outdoor patio or beach.

Thank you.I could try to give you all the buzz words that attract a mate... however reading a ***paragraph blurb doesn't really define who I am. I do, though, have to put some facts here that may lead you to be interested and then to respond. So here goes...I want someone that is available, caring, honest, and connected. I am looking for the right kind of person to share some time with and hopefully make memories with. I choose not to engage with someone who wants only to play games. I love to dance, West Coast Swing, East Coast Swing, Two Step, Night Club Two Sept, etc. However, it's not the end of a relationship if you don't. I love boating and the water... have a large respect for it, I do.I would love to horseback ride in the north GA mountains, travel to places I've not been, back to places I've been, find little pubs or 'hole in the wall' spots where there is live music and just chill. Ever listened to Blues and toasted good company with a cold beer? That sounds like a nice evening to me. When I'm not working, ... I might be enjoying a nice glass of wine in my back yard. I love what I do. When I'm not driving, I'm here in front of the computer. :)I have two grown daughters, and three grandbabies. They are without a doubt my greatest accomplishments. Family is an important part of my life. I also have siblings in VA, and visit there as much as I can... and want to go back some day. There's just so much to see in Europe... and there's no other way to see it than with a special person. So, have passport, will travel.S Lets have a drink, sit and talk, get to know each other. "-"***......things that make you go hmmmmmmI'm a strong woman who fits in well with any social gathering. I feel just as comfortable in an evening gown sipping champagne as I do in jeans and a tshirt sitting around a campfire having a beer (but red wine is really my beverage of choice) I want a man with similar traits.....looks good in jeans but cleans up nicely and has an eye for male fashion. I'm somewhat of a movie junkie and have diverse taste in music. As I mentioned prior, I enjoy red wine, with a nice Brie cheese. I enjoy all kinds of travel...everything from a sunny resort to a cabin in the woods. There's nothing like swimming in the ocean but also love the serenity of Georgian Bay. I love thunderstorms and the sound of the rain on a Sunday morning when I don't have to get up for work...even better waking up with that special someone beside me.I enjoy a game or 2 of pool...not the greatest at it but my game seems to improve after a couple of glasses of wine...go figure!Family is very important to me, as I hope it is for you. I have an older sister and younger brother who have wonderful families of their own and Christmas and Thanksgiving are usually a big deal for all of us. I have a 17 year old son going to college next year...,I'm very proud but not looking forward to seeing him leave home. I love to laugh...and I mean really laugh...the kind of laughter that doesn't allow you to speak and brings tears to your eyes, And just an FYI....I snort when I laugh...can't help it....it just happens.As much as I enjoy romantic evenings at home, I also enjoy the occasional night on the town....perhaps a live show, or concert....or dinner then a game of pool (I'm not great but my game tends to improve after a few glasses of wine)And guys.....no way of knowing), or you wearing sunglasses in every single shot, maybe out of focus,, ...oh...or the one of just your torso.....no head shot....c'mon!...really!?...in this day and age of phones with cameras, digital cameras...there's really no excuse for not having a decent photo of yourself....if you don't have it....i'\m not interested! Something casual....perhaps drinks but dinner not necessary...makes for too much pressure
