I grew up in Calgary, I love this city. My family is amazing and my friends are wicked cool. I'm not a huge fan of winter so right now I spend most of my time at yoga. When I'm not at yoga, you can find me at home reading a good book, or out hanging with cool peeps and tossing back a few beers. Summer is where it's at - camping, quading, boating, rafting, wakeboarding, patio drinking - it's what I live for. Oh, and stampede is fun too. And yes, I do camp out in the bush. Hard to believe, I know. I do like to get dolled up from time to time but I'm not afraid to get dirty. I love music. Music is great. Concerts are awesome. I've been to 6 concerts in the past 3 months and still have a few more ahead of me this year. I listen to everything, my ipod is pretty random. I am a country girl though - you don't have to be. I wont force country music on you. I don't watch a lot of tv, but when I do you can find me watching Workaholics, Girls, Breaking Bad and of course my summer addiction - Big Brother. I am very tired of looking at middle aged men flexing their muscles, standing half nude, acting as though they are 17 again. Been there, done that. Where are the men that are not afraid of being themselves? I am not impressed by that sports car, or your over-exaggerated tales of your abilities in the bedroom. REALLY!!!!!!! Roaring waterfalls, day trips to the coast , a loving, caring man who really listens and isn't afraid to hold my hand in public and a cold beer fills my bill. I love to people watch, have picnics in the park. I do foster care and have 6 grown kids and many grandbabies, so being a kid friendly man is a must. I love Saturday markets, and the coast is always on my list. Yard sales are great!! Not a jealous person, need my space alone sometimes. Also, love old rock n roll, no rap. Love big, tall teddybear men,nothing more fun than cuddling in front of a fire or watching the waves crash at the coast. I love to read, enjoy drives to anywhere ..........or no where at all. Don't do the camping thing anymore, I am a hotel on the beach kinda girl. I am not wanting to rush into a mistake........but would rather enjoy getting to know someone, sharing my interests and making a future filled with love and laughter. May sound corny, that's ok. Finished my paralegal and one day hope to open a non profit for animals who must be surrendered by military persons. I will be poor my whole life but at least I know I will love what I do.simply put, Im extravagant, irrational, and I make quick decisions that I later decide against. everything I think, say, and do is generally over the top. I like it that way. if I were on that show where they hook you up to a lie detector, I would be rich. I no longer feel the need to appease anyone.I dont beat around the bush, subtlety isnt exactly my strong point. I have slowly learned to roll with it, take it as it comes, prioritize what is important and put the rest on a back burner far far away and just say "look, im not trying to be mean, I just dont care enough to worry about it." I know who I am, and I am who I want to be. well, for the most part :D. I talk a big game, but I can be really sensitive sometimes, its amusing to watch I assume. I think I am really badass because I eat lemons whole :D. My dogs are my happiness. no one can stay mad at me because lets face it, life just sucks when Im not around, at least thats what I like to tell myself.I enjoy laughing, and yea I laugh at my own jokes! Im a dork and I say and do dumb things, but that just adds to my character right???
