My true friends will tell you I'm generous to a fault, thoughtful, considerate, and just a really sweet person. I love reading, like to unwind with pc games, and don't have one single outstanding creditor - my bills are all caught up! I know I'm nervous enough just thinking about meeting someone new and making a (hopefully) good impression -- I used to suggest to dates that we meet at Hooters, so that if he and I didn't hit it off, at least he'd have something nice to look at! I do think a first meeting should be in a public place, but not so noisy that we can't hear ourselves talk...the whole idea is to get to know each other, right?

Hi there, thank you for your interest. I am a fairly active person and I work out regularly. I had been self employed for the last 17 years and I had recently sold my buisness. I took the opportunity to travel and relax a bit as I was not intending to retire. I did want some change in what I had been doing so it is a bit of an exciting time in my life. I have found a job in a totally different line of work which has kept my interest . I am not quite sure what the future holds but I seem to be doing just fine . I enjoy boating of all kinds and I do own a kayak which I use. I can dress up or down , depending on the occasion and I enjoy myself most places I go. I like to dance. I have also been told I am stubborn ( Irish ancestors) but I have always thought that was positive. Hmmm? I have also been told I am a good sport which I believe is very true. Wow.......this is the tough part. I am who I am. How's that? Just kidding! I am beginning the second part of my life and I would like to actually enjoy it with someone. I love my kids with all my heart, but have enough of my heart left for one lucky man. :) To spend the day at an event of one of our children or staying home and cooking together seems ideal to me. Dancing in the living room or flirting at the park..........awesome times await us. It's worrisome to think that I may have to go through the best years of my life alone.
