This is tedious... Ambitious, assertive, attentive, caring, disciplined, educated, empathetic, family oriented, friendly, gregarious, intelligent, knowledgeable, Mediterranean, mix well, open minded, patient, physically fit, professional, risk taker, romantic, sacrificing, sense of humor, sensual, social... I listed those adjectives in alphabetical order just to hold my attention. (Smile)I suppose I should update my profile now that I'm almost six months into this adventure...I'm an equal opportunity dater. Don't be afraid to send me a ** if you read or see something you like. I've been fortunate in that I have had the opportunity to pursue degrees in higher education. It didn't come cheap and it didn't come easy but I'm not an education 'snob'. I've known very successful individuals, typically entrepreneurs, who possess simply a high school education but through hard work, perseverance and ingenuity they have made themselves and those around them successful. Mentoring others is what makes me 'tick'.Physically I'm more attracted to ladies of Mediterranean descent and African-American women. I'm attracted to women who are self-confident and have a little bit of an 'edge' to them. I appreciate a woman who knows her own worth and her own mind and speaks her mind regardless of what the results may be. To me, that's the definition of courage. I guess I would sum that up as A-T-T-I-T-U-D-E. Some men are intimidated by it; others are attracted to it. I tend to be the latter of the two.I'm also familiar with working mothers, the schedules they keep, the hours they work and know that everyday life involves a fine balancing act between work, family and socialization. It's my way of giving back to the community. I know that every single mother has faces a significant decision making process as to if and when they wish to bring a man into their son's or daughter's life. I respect that. I believe the most difficult and under appreciated job in the world is that of a single mother. Assuming we get to know one another and meet and that there's a mutual interest in determining if we might be a greater part of one another's futures it would go something like this.I would pick you up at your front door, promptly, I know ladies hate to be kept waiting. I would complement you on your attire, how beautiful you look and inquire as to what fragrance you were wearing. If I really thought you were 'The One' I would probably give you a corsage or some other memento to remember our first date by. I would open up the car door for you, usher you into the vehicle, make certain your seat belt was fastened, close the door and we would be off to some mutually agreed upon restaurant. I'm typically focused on the driving so you can run all the hardware. Air conditioning, heater and radio. We would do all the things typical with dining out. I would either let you out at the front door of the restaurant or escort you in from the parking lot, depending on how far away I had to park. From there it's all the normal formalities; verifying reservations, pulling your chair out while you're being seated, allowing you to peruse the menu, I'm not much of ordering dinner for a lady, I believe that is rather passe'. A gentleman always picks up the check. I don't go Dutch. Don't let that bother your conscience. If I'm intrigued enough by you to dine across from you at the dinner table I'm intrigued enough to pick up the check. From there it would be onto a previously mutually agreed upon destination. Preferably a movie or someplace with live music. Clubs are fine. My attention is all yours. I know who I came with and who I'm leaving with. There's lots of beautiful ladies, and lots of time to look at them, but now isn't the time or the place. I do like to people watch. People can be rather entertaining. They say and do the strangest things. If we're more into finding out more about one another we can always audible and opt for a cafe latte' at a street cafe. I'm pretty flexible. The person who's company I'm in is more important to me than an event. From there we can always arm wrestle. You always get home safely and on time, if that is your wish. A goodnight kiss is a nice option if the evening has went well.
