I'm looking for someone that confidently knows where they've been, where they are, and of course where they WANT to be. At 54, I can't and won't participate in the head games and silliness that might have been considered acceptable and "normal" when we were in our late teens and twenties. I like to think that the challenges, successes, and yes some failures up to now have provided me with the intelligence to know what and who's right for me.I take mutual respect, honesty, and commitment VERY seriously. If these basic but essential traits aren't present from the very beginning of a relationship, well there is no relationship.Once I connect with someone, I tend to put their needs and feelings ahead of my own.
