Even if I fail at something, I learn a lesson so the next attempt is successful. I don't like drama, and will shut it down immediately. I have learned how to NOT enable others to suck me into their drama. I have had to lose friends that were energy vampires, only for the good of my own sanity! I saw a quote recently that fits pretty well: Do not let others draw you into their storm, draw them into your peace. I am very family oriented. My grown children visit with me often. I will spend an entire day running around shopping with them, or BBQ'ing. I am the caretaker for my elderly father since we lost my mother last summer. This does not mean I don't have time for someone special, and my dad is NOT baggage. I have done my very best to not have "baggage".I set a pretty hefty goal for myself recently, and I achieved that goal when I became a homeowner in May. My next goal is a motorcycle! Please be employed, have reliable transportation and a place to call home before you engage me in conversation. I have several tattoos, and find men with tats more attractive. I like masculine men, but not necessarily so masculine they don't know how to treat the people around them with respect. I am not looking for any one-nighters. I won't give my phone number to strangers and I certainly won't invite someone to my home until I can meet and see his chemistry. If you are looking for a "hook up", I'm not the woman you want. (it's ridiculous I have to spell this out, but I've already been asked for all three in less than 4 hours on the site) A first date would have to be something mutually enjoyable by both people.
