I am not good at writing about myself. I like a variety of music from the 70's 80's to classsic rock to country. I like football both college and pro. I like to camp and fish but admit its been awhile since I have done both. I like to read a good romance book. I love my dogs and cats ***boxers and my mixed breed) I enjoy a night out on the town or snuggling on the couch watching a movie. I do not like reality tv and dont have time to keep up with whose who. I try and go to the gym at least twice a week but my work schedule sometimes prevents that. I do travel alot for work. I like a variety of food. I dont have time for players, one night stands or games. I am blessed with close friends and family and enjoy spending time with them.

Hello! Thanks for stopping by. :)I am romantic and passionate. I like to leave love notes on the counter for you. I love flowers for no reason. Kissing...I LOVE kissing. Day trips, watching movies, playing card games and love a good game of scrabble. I love to sing in the car with the music blasting, especially messing up the words! The change of the seasons: Fall - Summer days spent at the beach with a picnic. I enjoy cooking & baking, make fabulous cheesecake & and an awesome meatloaf. Watching a beautiful sunset, going to the park, listening to the laughter of my kids or just being relaxed at home. Quiet Sunday mornings with a hot cup of coffee and a newspaper...LOVE my coffee...I consider it the nectar of the Gods.I have a 9 year old soccer player and a 13 year old football player which keeps me running around to Every field in town! They live with me full time, and although they are the first priority in my life, I need to have a life too. Finding the balance between being a Mom and being ME is challenging, but I am up for it! Care to join me?What I am looking for... A strong, self confident man who can be my best friend & lover. Someone who makes me feel like the most important person in the room and knows that I feel the same way. You believe that chivalry is still alive and wellYou like to kiss...slowly & passionately. You are not afraid to be wrong and understand that you are not always right and that I am not either. You know your positive qualities as well as your faults. I want a man who trusts himself, and me and our relationship. A man who treasures family Someone who likes to make plans for dinner or a date night and does not always leave the planning to me. Someone who believes that being on time is important. a great sense of humor! Laughter is so important!! Communication is key. Texting is great, but it isn't the same as talking.Am I asking too much? I believe you are out there somewhere! If you are interested in getting to know more, then send me a note, not a one liner. "Hey babe" and "Great smile" might be a nice compliment...but it won't get me to respond. I am looking for the real thing, the "it" factor. If you are serious about finding someone to potentially share your life with, then let me know...that is the ultimate goal here...right? First meeting....probably meet for coffee or a bite for lunch. I know, not exciting, but how else do you sit and talk to someone? Cannot do it at a bar, or a movie. So, coffee. Start there and see where it leads.

I am an English teacher at a Christian school and I take my faith seriously. I love classical and contemporary Christian music. Reading novels, movie watching, and learning to cook new foods are hobbies that I enjoy. I would like to eventually get married to the man that God has made for me. I believe in the *** marriage and think it is something worth fighting for. If you are not a Christian, please do not respond. I do not believe that people should be unequally yolked. On a first date I would expect to meet in a public place for coffee and have some good conversation. First impressions are important. I would like to get to know you, your likes and dislikes, as well as your intentions.

What I want is to be the reason someone smiles, as he would be for me. A thought that brings you happiness during a stressful day. I enjoy romance, and romance doesn't cost anything except for thought. I'm very passionate about music of all kinds. I love live music! I listen to everything from casual listening, jazz, classical to country, alternative rock and metal. I'm also one of the biggest female hockey fans you will ever meet (I'm not an Avs fan, though).I love getting into the gym. My workout buddy has found herself wrapped into work and life (in general), and I need a new workout partner. I'm really eager to get back into the gym, though! I was working out ***times a week doing cross-fit and using resistance straps, I even found myself quite enjoying yoga! I am an animal lover and have both cats and dogs in my home.I've been single for the greater part of the last 7 years. As I've gotten older I am finding that I hate the games. If something isn't working, I don't want to waste anybody's time, as I don't want mine wasted either. I'm pretty direct and straight forward. Don't ask me a question if you don't want an honest answer. I appreciate the same in return. I don't want this to seem mean, I think it's more mean to string a relationship along that one or both parties knows isn't working.I would like to add, I have faced life and death decisions. Decisions that have changed my outlook on life and how to live it. I live as positively as humanly possible. I am the ultimate optimist. I find something good in every situation. Even if I fail at something, I learn a lesson so the next attempt is successful. I don't like drama, and will shut it down immediately. I have learned how to NOT enable others to suck me into their drama. I have had to lose friends that were energy vampires, only for the good of my own sanity! I saw a quote recently that fits pretty well: Do not let others draw you into their storm, draw them into your peace. I am very family oriented. My grown children visit with me often. I will spend an entire day running around shopping with them, or BBQ'ing. I am the caretaker for my elderly father since we lost my mother last summer. This does not mean I don't have time for someone special, and my dad is NOT baggage. I have done my very best to not have "baggage".I set a pretty hefty goal for myself recently, and I achieved that goal when I became a homeowner in May. My next goal is a motorcycle! Please be employed, have reliable transportation and a place to call home before you engage me in conversation. I have several tattoos, and find men with tats more attractive. I like masculine men, but not necessarily so masculine they don't know how to treat the people around them with respect. I am not looking for any one-nighters. I won't give my phone number to strangers and I certainly won't invite someone to my home until I can meet and see his chemistry. If you are looking for a "hook up", I'm not the woman you want. (it's ridiculous I have to spell this out, but I've already been asked for all three in less than 4 hours on the site) A first date would have to be something mutually enjoyable by both people. Let's NOT make it coffee, I'm not a coffee drinker. A quiet location that allows two people to have a decent conversation would be great, but I've had a first date at a concert and it was fantastic! Let's hike! I love the mountains and still marvel at them after being here for nearly 8 years!
