As I read everyone's profiles, they read the same... Everyone says they want something real, looking for someone to share life with, tired of the games and the drama. These online dating sites are pretty much a legal escort service. It is a revolving door for serial daters. I have a lot of female friends on here and we all compare notes! You guys have no clue to what you're doing. Ok. I have to talk about myself.... I am European 100% from the Netherlands. I married GI Joe and ended up in the States. Made America my home. I think I'm pretty easy going. I am currently got a divorce after 15 years of marriage. I have not been out on a date in a long time and do not have any idea of how this all works anymore. I now I feel the need to be a bit more specific because after 42 years of life I sort of know a bit of what I am looking for and not looking for. And I realize that dating at 40 something is nothing like it was 20 years ago. I would prefer a man who actually wants a relationship in every sense, not just the intamacy part. If the relationship is good eventually the intimate parts happen but not from the get go....If you just want that one thing go somewhere other than this site because I am sure some people on here actually want a person to grow old with. I also prefer someone between 36 to 47. I would like them to be around with me growing old together. I also do not have an issue with interracial relationships, but just not for me. I also don't get how some of the gentleman on this site say they want a reltionship although they say they are quite busy, they don't have a lot of time, their time is precious. Well a relationship is going to require time. I get that we have kids, jobs, hobbies etc, but if you aren't willing to share that with someone else then why bother? If you think this is too harsh I am sorry, but why waste time trying to find someone for all the wrong reasons. I still have hope that I will find a companion in life. I would like to take weekend afternoon and maybe go to a park and talk and walk. Of course this really only works in the warmer 3 seasons of the year. We would have to find something else to do in the winter months.
