HI! I am not sure exactly sure who I am looking for, but am sure when I find him I will know it. I know he has to have similar morals and values as I do for things to work. I am a pretty easy going person and pretty much take things as they come. I have a kind, caring heart, family is huge to me, respect for others is also very important - especially towards seniors/elderly people and physically/mentally challenged people, I am upfront and honest however; I am careful to be honest in a tactful way, not a mean way and try my best not to hurt someone's feelings. I definately have flaws and am far from perfect, much like everyone else LOL I like to go out do things, but am also quite content staying home. I think it's fun to go out and play some darts or pool once in awhile (although it has literally been years since I have done that. I probably would really suck at it, but that's ok. I believe in enjoying life, I’m just finding that it is not as much fun trying to enjoy it alone.I like spending my evenings relaxing at home with a good book or a movie and a glass of home-made wine. My weekends are for fun! I like to get up early, hop in the car and see where the road takes us... Maybe it will be breakfast in Cereal, AB, or how about a hike in the mountains? I like exploring and discovering the world around me. My passport only has one stamp in it, and while I’m open to traveling my list of things to see are a little closer to home. I love the city I live in, but I love leaving it too! I like trips to Saskatchewan (seriously). I enjoy camping and hiking, but I’m not in to dirtbiking or quadding. I am past my party camping days, and prefer the crackle of a campfire and the chirp of frogs. I like canoeing, but am not in to water skiing. I would love to find someone who could teach me how to fish and actually catch something (bonus points for fly-fishing)!I enjoy history, and so, when I do travel I like to learn more about the location I'm in and where it "came" from. Therefore, I avoid resorts and package vacations. I like to meet people, eat their food, and learn about their culture. I love good food! I enjoy cooking when I have someone there to appreciate it. I try and eat healthy most of the time, but I’m not obsessive over it. You will likely never hear me talking about the latest fad diet, and if I order a salad, it’s because I actually want to eat a salad!I try and live a healthy lifestyle. I recently took up running (although I have found I don't enjoy running in the heat) and got back on a bicycle again (after 20 years), but hate going to the gym other than for the occasional yoga class. I prefer to get my exercise outdoors. I am not on the go all the time though; I have been known to spend the odd weekend at home in my pjs. I like some down time to recharge with a good book too.I have two children over the age of 16. My daughter lives on her own and my son lives with me every other week. I have a good co-parenting relationship with his father. I am attracted to people who are either artistic or musically inclined (or both).
