Sometimes, I exist. Sometimes, I play with my food. Read me your poetry; it turns me on. Flash me your dirty semi-colins.Essentially, I am always berated with various stories about my friends having internet adventures with various - sometimes nice and sometimes utterly creepy - men. In my current state of boredom, I felt as if I was missing out on all of the fun, so I'm making this out of morbid curiosity. What comes of it will come of it, but I can't deny that I really wouldn't mind befriending somebody out of the ordinary that could catch my eye. I like to find people that have a sort of spark to them and I get excited when I take an interest in a person. I don't bite terribly hard, so don't be afraid to drop a friendly hello! I like nice people and hate meanies. And mushrooms. :)- I'm a bookworm of epic proportions. I'm also a former english major, so I'm always making obscure references to various literatures and toting around books of poetry. I'm a creative writer. I would never go so far as to look for perfection; perfection is an insult. I'm in love with the anti-hero and would rather date a Heathcliff than a Mr. Darcy any day.- I can assure you that I'll grow old to be a crazy cat lady. We can make like the Aristocats and have some very musical house parties.- I'm currently a musical theater major, but the type of music that dominates my ipod would be considered 'post-hardcore'. I honestly will listen to anything that appeals to me though (but I'm not big on country music). And no, I don't watch glee. I'm more of a True Blood kinda gal. I do prefer character driven shows, though.- I am comfortable enough in my femininity to enjoy talking about poop. I'm a tiny girl with blue eyes, freckles, and dark hair that spirals into curly cues (the likeness of which matches most porcelain dolls and creeps me out a bit). I always have either a flower or a large ribbon in said curls and am known for it. If I want to talk about poop, I'll talk about poop.- I'm a bit of a fitness freak. It's probably because I have a pretty tattoo on my ribs and a shiny belly button bar that I like being able to show off. The tattoo reads "maybe it was" in a small typewriter font.- I to adventure and have a good time. I like to dress up and go out. I like to dance.- Existentialism and satire. YES. I like to watch obscure, philosophical, and slightly absurdist movies that make you want to bawl your eyes out. I don't like happy endings, because I find them unrealistic.- If you read all of this, I'll probably like you. Let's hang out.

So, first and foremost, I generally suck at describing anything about myself. Bear with me...I am a book lover, my library is constantly growing and I love recommendations. If you've read something recently that was excellent, let me know. :) I am also a runner. Not running nearly as much as I should, but I am getting there. I might throw something in between, but I doubt it. Want to stay healthy and injury free. Currently I am planning on majoring in Bio-chemistry and Middle Eastern Language and Culture. I learned Arabic in the Marine Corps and it is still something I enjoy. The ultimate goal is still up in the air. Decisive aren't I?I'm quirky and twitchy. I generally am always moving something. My fingers, feet, or I'm dancing around like an idiot. I'm also incredibly sarcastic. It gets me in trouble from time to time. But what is life without a life trouble? Or maybe that's just how I think. Music, that seems like the biggest cop out. Well, following the whole describe yourself and all that BS. I listen to a little bit of everything. Was raised listening to country, big band, jazz and show tunes. So they are a big part of my collection. But I also enjoy listening to trance, pop (don't judge), rock, blues, hip hop, classical and the list goes on. If you have a band you really like that you have to share, feel free. Like books, I'm always seeking new things to listen to in the car and at home. Going to shows is a favorite pass time of mine. Recently saw Blue October at Stubbs. It was AWESOME. Guess that is me in a very small nutshell. Like I said, I suck at these things. I'm pretty lame in this regard. I would love to take someone to dinner and talk about shared interests and even those we don't share. Maybe see a movie, grab a show or lay out at Zilker park. But, I am open to just about anything.

Soo here goes. I am not really sure what I am doing here and am not expecting much from it. I have recently gotten out of a long relationship (well, months ago, actually) and am sort of forcing myself to get out of my house more often. I am currently in school studying to be a nurse and am pretty busy with that most of the time. I am usually down to do just about anything and am pretty easy going for the most part. Humor is a big part of the way I communicate and much of what comes out of my mouth has a hint of sarcasm to it. Not really much of a *** person. My dog is my favorite thing in the world and I tend to treat animals like people. Working out is very important to me and I hit the gym or go jogging pretty often. My interests tend to be a bit off-centered and usually not what one would expect from a 25-year old woman but I can usually maintain a good convo on just about any topic. I appreciate people who can have both an intelligent conversation as well as one that is completely full of nonsensical randomness. Can be awkward and uncomfortable so I prefer to just hang out and not do anything formal. Would rather talk or text a bit before so I don't feel like I am out with a complete stranger.
