Here's me in a nutshell: Hard working, confident, intelligent, creative, somewhat sarcastic, helpful, curious, friendly, persistent, likes to try new things, enjoys the great outdoors, eager to learn, tinkerer, gets along with most everyone, big fan of history, not afraid to poke fun at myself, and all around good guy. I am one of the lucky few with a job he enjoys. I was fascinated and occasionally terrified by the weather when I was growing up and I decided at a fairly young age that I wanted to be a meteorologist. I used to be glued to the tv during severe weather events waiting for the local stations to show the radar so I could see how close the storm was to wiping my house off the map. My dream was to have a live feed of the radar to my house and since that wasn't possible the only way to see the radar when I wanted was to be a meteorologist. Of course now radar and much more is available on your phone. I'm not sure how much I would enjoy being recognized by everyone wherever I went. When I'm not working I have a myriad of hobbies and interests that keep me busy, not to mention spending time with my family and friends. I like to get outdoors when I can, but sometimes it is nice to sit on the couch and watch tv or read a good book. I am a self-taught guitar wizard too. That may be a slight exaggeration, but there are bits and pieces of songs I can play that some people might recognize. I like to look up the music for a song and figure out how to play it and It's always rewarding when it finally starts sounding halfway similar to the real song. I also like to cook and try new recipes and recently I found an amazing spaghetti recipe that may be the best spaghetti I've had. I am a handyman of sorts and I'd rather build/repair something myself than have someone else do it. Who am I looking for? Are you talkative, intelligent, friendly, interesting, and don't mind a little sarcastic humor? If so, feel free to send me an ***, especially if you are the type who is good at keeping a good conversation going for hours at a time on road trips, hikes, or anytime really. I think the first date should be somewhere fairly quiet where you can talk and get to know each other. If that goes well the second date can be something a little more exciting.
