So here I go....I start each day with a happy heart, and end it thanking my lucky stars :-) I LOVE LOVE LOVE to laugh...... Many times it's self-inflicted! My family and friends mean the world to me and I am so very grateful I have them. They are my treasures. I live near the beach and spend time walking, hiking, swimming, biking and soaking up the sun as often as I can. I love all of the outdoors, being on the water boating, skiing, campfires, and forests. Gardening is one of my favorite past times. I love getting my hands in the earth and creating something beautiful. I crave history and culture. I enjoy museums, bookstores, antiques, art, mucsic, good food and wine... In the past year I have whet my appetite for European travel and look forward to more in the near future. I'm pretty sulf-sufficient and independent, but think two heads are better than one. I would love to be held and supported....a shoulder to rest my head on. Someone to bounce idea's off of and get advice from. I am a good listener. I grew up where you met someone through friends or shared activities - out in the real world. But today - it seems to happen "virtually"...not my preferred way...but what the heck I'm up for new things! Basically, I'm pretty easy going and handle my life (and what little baggage I have - because I have lived a bit lol) with grace and a free spirit. I'm open to new opportunities and work hard - sometimes I'm told I work too hard. I can keep confidences, conduct myself as appropriate to the situation and my family and friends are held very close to my heart. I'm not interested in "casual hook ups" or serial dating (I believe that's what it's called these days) but rather meeting someone nice on mutual terms and seeing what happens. As someone once told me "Let the art wash over you". I like that statement. Life is a tapestry we build with each experience and after raising my children (I have ***girl and a boy) I find myself now ready to see what else life has to offer!I posted a picture of myself without makeup - fresh up out of bed on a Saturday morning - because I don't believe in presenting only the "made up me" but the "real me" too. A healthy active lifestyle is being built ... but like most things - it's a work in progress. I am happy with myself - my life - and have a sense of humor about most things. Gosh I really want to be off this site! It's taking my time--when I could be planning our dinner, and loving you ***!! But with that said...I feel I am in no rush either.
