After a few years of no dogs...I now have two dogs whom I adore. One I adopted from someone who was moving and couldn't take her. Now Chopper Girl is my darlin! She was a rescue from NYC. Soooooo....I then rescued another just like her from a kill shelter in NYC. Another sweetie!I'm not into games, been there and its soooo old. I very much believe in mutual respect, honesty and enjoying life. So if you have any of the same interests, lets chat! If not, good luck in your search. :) First date...hard one. Lets start with before the first date...talk. No need to waste anyone's time with a date if there is no common ground. I am a single mom with a 15yr old son... and above all else I am very proud of the amazing young man that he is developing into :-) My son has always lived with me full time, and is of course the #1 priority in my life. I try to expose my son to as many positive influences as possible so I am looking for someone to spend time with who is upbeat, positive, and enjoys children, even though mine is spending alot less time with his mom... therefore here I am learning to date again :-). Value spending as much time as possible with family and friends. I was married for a very short time and have been divorced for 18 yrs. I made the decision not to date while my son was growing up, I focused on working, buying a home and providing a stable secure environment for my son to grow up in. Now that he is older and understands the concept of dating, I feel comfortable taking a little time for me, (when free time is available) and "online dating" has proven to be convenient and I find that it allows me to proceed at my own pace with zero pressure.If you made it through all my rambling and want to meet in person let me know :-) Public place suitable for casual conversation,(prefer to avoid COFFEE only spots, not a big fan of coffee) I am a huge fan of ice cream, and also enjoy a the relaxing qualities of the many fine wines now available in this area
