Sitting around alone on the weekend really does suck, doesn't it?!?!? (Isn't that a tacky, crass statement ?!?!?... Don't hold it against me, please!) As much as I love my jeans, I love getting cleaned up, dressed up, minding my manners (I always do that anyway) and playing the princess too!!! I am exceptionally sociable and can take on any gala fundraiser, ball or soirée that you can throw at me! I've never met a stranger and can fit in most anywhere as I am comfortable with who I am and I love meeting new people! Love my cats and dogs. I love art exhibits, museums and misc. events be they on the stage or on a field! I am a design and architecture freak and I would love to travel to see a lot of what I studied in grad school! I love exploring new restaurants and all kinds of great music! Especially live performances by local artists and national headliners. I love to dance! No standing around at the concert for this girl! Hard working single mom. I have been thru alot in the last couple of years. Ex-husband walked out in 2006 after 16 years of marriage. Lost my only brother, mom and grandmother all in 2009. Still try to keep a positive attitude because life goes on...I try to live everyday like it was my last because life it's a gift and not a givin. Have 2 kids, one grown and the other almost grown and my whole world has revolved around someone else for the past 20 years and now it's my turn. I hate this part but here goes... I'm pretty much a homebody.. I'm country as you can get, I was raised on a tobacco farm and know what a hard days work is all about. I'd rather be bare foot than wear the most expensive shoes you could buy, I'm a jeans and t-shirt girl and sometimes a baseball cap too.. I love the country life... I like to go dancing but not really into the bar scene, I prefer to dance to old country music but can tolerate some of the new stuff played at the clubs. I like many different types of music and you might find me listening to southern gospel as well as a new country song... I would like to find someone who has at least a faith in God, I don't always go to church on Sunday morning even though I know I should and was raised in church every Sunday. The most important people in my life are my kids and my grand kids, I have 3 grown on their own children 2 boys and 1 girl . And I have 8 grand kids, I don't get to see them as much as I would like to but that's life I suppose.
